Wang was intimately familiar with the sport of ice skating. After her father bought her her first pair of skates and took her to Central Park in New York to try them out, she was immediately hooked. The Father of Chewing Gum: The Early Years of William Wrigley Jr.
William Wrigley Jr. was just 29 years old when he used his life savings of $32 to start up his own soap manufacturing business. After experimenting with selling both soap and baking powder, Wrigley Jr. finally found his niche in chewing gum. He did not invent it, but he did go on to build the top chewing gum manufacturer in the world, bringing it for the first time to the masses, first in America and then around the world.

Personal Growth - Failure Consciousness versus Success Consciousness
After hearing a number of recommendations for the book Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill, I downloaded a copy to listen to in the car. One of the first things the book says is to take it one chapter at a time, really absorb each one and integrate the ideas slowly, making them your own. Having to spend the next 2 hours in the car I initially scoffed at listening to just one chapter. The first profound statement hit me as the book unfolded in the first chapter. It said ‘the goal of this book is to help you move from a failure consciousness to a success consciousness’. I did indeed stop the book after the first chapter and give it some thought, which quickly made me realize how much of my life I have spent with a failure consciousness.

Why Prospecting is Like Baseball

I struck out over 1,700 times and walked over 1,800 times. That means I played seven years in the major leagues without even hitting a baseball."

Why A Home Based Business Franchise Is Perfect For Mom
Though some in our culture seem to believe that motherhood is a second-rate vocation, most would agree that only someone who has never been a mother or never actually paid attention to what his own mother has willingly done could make such a brash statement. In every way, motherhood is one of the most trying, tiring, and honorable professions a woman could ever take on. And it really is a profession; it requires at least 18 years of a woman’s life, takes all 24 hours of her day, includes the use of at least a dozen different skills and abilities, and normally pays in relational and emotional ways that no other career can.

The owner of a registered copyright enjoys the ability of blocking the unauthorized copying or public performance of a work protected by copyright. Riding into Risk - Only In My Mind!
Many years later after having my children and long after the risk taking years – I re-learned to ride a motorcycle. Only this time the bike was 3 times the size and weighed in at about 487 lbs. I learned not only how to ride it safely by taking a course – but also learned how to lift it – in case I ever fell or dropped it. (which I did a few times!) I rode for four years before we moved and sold the bike. Three years went by before we decided to get another motorcycle.
