I was just tweeting about getting myself all 'psyched up' to get 'bundled' up to head outside into the freezing cold.
It was chore time, a.k.a. dinner time. Our barnful of big, furry and feathery pets needed hay, grain and water-again. More feeding times and harder work now that winter was here and the pastures were all covered with snow.
Because I was so snuggled up and because it was colder tonight, I knew it was going to be tougher to get going this time. But I knew I had to go. I started lifting my blanket.. |

In a recent sermon Dr. Jack Graham of Prestonwood Baptist Church in Dallas points out that each person in his or her lifetime will cultivate either an attitude or spirit of thanksgiving, gratitude and thankfulness, or an attitude or life as a cynic, full of anger, bitterness and arrogance. | I recently had a client that was struggling financially and I told her to be grateful for what she had. Instead of accepting this thought, she went irate. She told me that she couldn't be grateful for her old clothes, small house and her debit. She could even be grateful for the intangible things like her angry teenager and ex-husband.
In reflecting on my journey in deliberate creation with universal laws, I have found that before lived deliberately, I was overlooking all that I have.
What if we could be feel glorious peace and gratitude towards every-single-thing that meets you in life? Instead of getting caught up with what we don't have and what we are striving to "get". And depressed that we don't already have what we want already. |

| I often wonder about whether attitude is gratitude, or if gratitude is attitude. Actually, I think it is both. If your attitude is positive, more than likely you are thankful for everything that you have. And, if you are grateful for what you have, that says a great deal about your attitude. In either case, being grateful is positive, and it can have a huge influence on how you approach life and deal with daily issues. | What a tough year. I am sure most of you are glad it is over. The recession has had an impact on every one of us. But, now is the time to look back and be grateful; grateful for who you are and who you want to become. December, unlike years of the past was very busy for me. This is only because in prior years I always took the month of December off. This year due to the tough economy that just didn't seem like a good option. So, I spent time in Cleveland, Dallas, Tampa and Montreal. I froze in Cleveland & Montreal, didn't take a coat to Dallas and should have and I went to Tampa during Florida's coldest temperatures in years. Over the holidays Tracy and I visited friends in South Carolina and got to see a calf born on a cattle ranch and took our dog to the ocean. (It was way to cold to even consider swimming.)
