| I recently had a client that was struggling financially and I told her to be grateful for what she had. Instead of accepting this thought, she went irate. She told me that she couldn't be grateful for her old clothes, small house and her debit. She could even be grateful for the intangible things like her angry teenager and ex-husband.
In reflecting on my journey in deliberate creation with universal laws, I have found that before lived deliberately, I was overlooking all that I have.
What if we could be feel glorious peace and gratitude towards every-single-thing that meets you in life? Instead of getting caught up with what we don't have and what we are striving to "get". And depressed that we don't already have what we want already. |

| So often when we think about our lives, most of us tend to look either back at the past and its accomplishments and failures or we look forward to what we will start doing or stop doing in the future. Although it is not necessarily a bad habit to review goals met or not met and formulate goals to work toward and attain, I want to suggest that you also take the time to look at the present moment and concentrate on all the things in your life, right now, for which you are grateful. |

You don’t need to understand what gratitude is to notice when it is totally absent. When I experience a lack of gratitude, it’s like a social vacuum that sucks all that is good into it. This week, as an experiment, notice gratitude or lack of gratitude of it in those around you, then become see if you can become aware of your own. Remember, it’s not enough to experience the feeling of gratitude but it is the expression of your gratitude that is important for those on the receiving end. It’s all about impact and gratitude makes a huge impact. |
