Faith and Business Values: A Perfect Match

| As Christian businessmen and women our hands are not tied if we integrate our faith into our business. On the contrary, we have an extra set of hands to lead us and guide us. Not only can we integrate our faith and our business, but we can show the world that as Christians we can have unwavering strength and limitless compassion simultaneously and seamlessly. And as is true with God in all things, He is faithful. As I have personally followed what scripture shares with us about leadership and business, I have seen the wisdom of His ways and seen success achieved. My business has been profitable since day 1. God’s vision for my business has stayed consistent and developed over time adding strategies and tactics along the way. My business has skipped the roller coaster that I see in client business of constantly changing focus and vision. |

Overwhelmed and Overcommitted but not Defeated!

| I hate the feeling of being overwhelmed with my work. Unfortunately, it has happened all too often. I have to say it is a state of being which I defined for myself as dysfunctional. Literally. I would get to the point where I was almost paralyzed because there seemed to be too much that needed to be done now. I took firefighting to the next level. I remember one day vividly. It was quite a few years ago. I had agreed to so many commitments, projects, and meetings, I thought I might hyperventilate. So I did what any responsible executive would do…I cancelled everything I could for that day. The definition of “everything I could” was anything that was not a meeting with my boss, the President of the company. After I cancelled everything I locked myself in my office. I didn’t tell anyone I would be there. Most of my team was not in the build |
