Taking Advantage of Public WiFi Hotspots
“Before you ride merrily off to the next burg you need to know if your hardware will support WiFi. A wireless network uses radio waves just like cell phones, televisions and radios do.”

Need A Niche
How'd you like a niche where most of its members are amiable, agreeable, affluent, accessible, and ready to chat with you?

Take Back Your Time Day
The work ethic in the US today seems to push us all into working harder and faster than we have ever worked before. The technology that was supposed to make life easier has just added to our work load. With email, instant messaging, Blackberries, and mobile phones we are all very accessible. There is almost no place that we can go where we won’t be disturbed!

TOURISM WITHOUT EVEN HAVING TO BE THERE!
On one hand the greatest exciting technology development is the new ability to stream video, and have video email, and visual information highly accessible through web based interactive applications. Now we have done exactly the same as what the Discovery Channel has achieved on television, we have now made the web the place to go look and vie, but you don’t have to take up the dangers or pleasures of actually visiting.

Top 8 Tips To Ensure Your Site Is Accessible
It's been widely reported that some website owners are facing the threat of legal action because they do not offer a website that is easily accessible for disabled people. But, even ignoring the legal threat, it is good business practice to ensure that your pages are accessible for anybody that wishes to view them.

6 Quick and Easy Accessibility Issues That Make Your Visitors Happy
As more and more users gain access to the web it becomes increasingly important to ensure that your website is accessible to all, not just a few. Just as businesses must comply with the American Disabilities Act to ensure proper access to customers with disabilities, businesses should do all they can to make their websites accessible to all users regardless of the means in which they access the site. And of course not all accessibility issues involve meeting the needs of the disabled. What must be considered is the growing number of users that now access websites through non-traditional means, whether it be mobile phones or with images turned off. These users can still be your target audience and ensuring your site can be used through alternate avenues is essential to capturing that audience.

Creating a Section 508 Accessible Site
If you are a web developer by profession, you should be knowledgeable with Section 508 Standards. Such standards aid website developers in making sites accessible for all; primarily for disabled users, visually or auditory impaired. In fact, as per federal regulations, government websites should comply with the guidelines as outlined by Section 508. With heavy reliance we place in the internet for learning, employment, healthcare, social networking, research, and more, it is crucial for sites to be accessible for all.

Three “A’s
An empowered leader makes being accessible a priority. Some ways that one can be accessible is by holding regular office hours, open corporate meetings, walking around the organization periodically just to create a bonding with the staff and employees. A huge key is simply regularly returning phone calls and emails; being accessible requires a sincere intention to be open and available to others.

Bridging We-They Gaps
Ask any group of managers if they view themselves as an elite within their organization, and you can be sure they'll deny it. You'll hear comments such as, "I have an open-door policy" and "I take pride in always being accessible and approachable." And in most cases, these managers will really believe what they are saying. What they don't realize, however, are the many invisible barriers - the "glass doors" - they put in place. Management perks and privileges like parking spaces or special offices create separation. Similarly, employees find it hard to get any sense of partnership or collaboration when their bosses hold exclusive meetings or conferences, hang out in management cliques, use condescending or dehumanizing language, or withhold financial statements or other "confidential" information.

Stop Managing and Start Leading
Ask any group of managers if they view themselves as an elite within their organization and you can be sure they will deny it. You'll hear comments such as: "I have an open-door policy" and "I take pride in always being accessible and approachable." And in most cases, these managers will really believe what they are saying. Being In Between
When I am coaching business owners - at any level- there comes a place and time when they are in the midst of letting something go and creating something new. They are often "in between" where they were and where they are going. Let me tell you - I have been there - and it is not an easy place to be. In fact it can be quite uncomfortable. Leaving behind the known - even though it may not be the best place for you - is not easy - especially when you have not yet experienced where you want to be. But being "in-between" has incredible value. Let me explain.
