IT'S ABOUT PROCESS NOT OUTCOMES OR WHAT FOOTBALL TAUGHT ME
Two of the greatest life lessons I ever learned believe it or not came early in my amateur football coaching career. They were to have a profound effect on my philosophy of life thereafter. So, if you can bear with me and allow my propensity to perhaps over-romanticize my 25 years as a football coach, I promise there is a lesson(s) here. You don't even have to like the sport!

What I Learned From Coach Vince Lombardi That Guides Me in My Business
As a youth, I started playing organized, supervised football through the Boy’s Club in Elizabethtown, PA. I went on to play football at the junior high, junior varsity, varsity, collegiate levels and beyond for a total of about 18 years. During those years, I became totally impressed with a football coach named Vince Lombardi and his principles. And to this day, I try to use what I learned from Coach Lombardi in my business coaching practice and my personal life. Coach Lombardi believed that running a football team was no different than running any other kind of organization or business. Reflecting on the Maraniss book, other reading and personal experiences, I selected 10 key character traits & 2 quotes from Coach Lombardi for each trait to represent the lesson learned from each character item.

Turnovers & Takeaways
True football fans, particularly those like me who consider football a religion rather than a mere obsession, speak an entirely different language than you normal people. While I am, like other “NFLians” bound by a certain code of honor, I’m going to let the rest of you inside our secret world: just this once!

Today's PROFESSIONAL SALES PERSON Versus THE AMATEUR
I often ask in our sales workshops, “What’s the difference between a professional and an amateur”? If I get blank looks I’ll ask, “How about a professional golfer versus an amateur golfer?" "Or a professional actor versus an amateur actor?” So how about a professional sales person versus an amateur sales person. That always seems to get a response...

At The Risk Of Making Myself Extremely Unpopular!...
Football (Soccer) is a subject that builds great emotion in the heart of the average british male (and some females too). People will happily spend hundreds if not thousands of pounds per year going to watch their favourite team, they buy the latest 'strip', they travel hundreds of miles to watch away games, they pay for Sky TV to watch the best matches live and even travel abroad to watch a match. Football (or Soccer if you are in the US) is a revered sport of gods!

Dumb Jocks … Or Smart Athletes?
We all know the stereotype. The great athlete didn't spend much time honing his intellectual skills; instead, all of his efforts were spent on the athletic field and thus, he tends to be lacking in the brains department. Like all stereotypes, this idea does not encompass all athletes, but still seems to be pervasive, especially among football players, where we all chuckle about the easy courses they take in college, etc. For example, it seems like 90 % of football players are Sociology majors, often the easiest curriculum at the university. However, some new research cited in Scientific American is stereotype breaking.

Using Professional Digital Content Developers Just Makes Sense
Content presentation is shown, seen everywhere. While people flock to YouTube to see amateur videos on small screens, they do not pay attention to amateur efforts when they are shown on the large screen. Today's digital signage is the imagery professional organizations/companies use to reach their their audiences. The best, arresting content is prepared by professional content creators using standard off-the-shelf professional video production software/tools they use every day for a wide range of content projects that have influence, impact. In today's interactive, over communicated age retailers, manufacturers, institutions can't afford anything less than the highest quality content produced quickly, easily, effectively by professionals...it is not a task left to amateurs when an organization's image, reputation, sales are on the lin

No Logo? Launching a Business Without a Logo Can Sabotage You
Many entrepreneurs choose to design their own marketing materials when they launch their businesses, especially by creating their first business card. Or sometimes they will have an amateur designer, friend, or relative create the design. There are several reasons why this is not the best idea. An amateur logo design and business card can make your business more likely to fail for a number of reason.

Master The Skill Of Blogging Easily
There are many misconceptions about blogging like one has to work day and night, giving up their sleep etc. It is surely not so; blogging is really easy and here we’ll discuss how an amateur blogger can become a master of blogs.
