National Labor Relations Board FAQs
| |
| The National Labor Relations Board is an independent federal agency created by Congress in 1935 to administer the National Labor Relations Act, the primary law governing relations between unions and employers in the private sector. The statute guarantees the right of employees to organize and bargain collectively with their employers or to refrain from all such activity. Generally applying to all employers involved in interstate commerce - other than airlines, railroads, agriculture, and government - the Act implements the national labor policy of assuring free choice and encouraging collective bargaining as a means of maintaining industrial peace. Recession Proof Your Interior Design or Decorating Business
| |
| Maybe you’re one of the many trained interior decorators who have ended up working in retail for a 100% commission. MARKETING YESTERDAY, TODAY AND TOMORROW FOR BUSINESSES DEVELOPMENT.

| Marketing concept has evolved over the years. It has gone through some sort of evolution to where we are today. There have been marked stages and these stages are the following:
Industrial revolution: at this stage specialization took place, with the industrial revolution, wages were introduced. At this stage the farmers could produce and sell to the industrial workers. In marketing this stage is called the production stage, it took a while and Henry Ford perfected it. He came up with the car assembly and mass market was born. At this stage there was limited choice for the customer. |

Business credit remains tough in difficult times
| |
| There’s been a lot of talk about the impact of the global financial crisis on interest rates and access to finance.
Whilst the banks maintain that they are providing finance, and certainly that appears to be the case with residential mortgages, the availability of finance to business remains an issue. It is finally receiving a greater level of attention in the mainstream press, with The Australian and Australian Finance Review both publishing articles on 27 March. |

Social Media - One Man's Definition!
| |
| The definition of social media is that these are the foremost internet based tools to disseminate and exchange information among people. It is the term used to describe social interaction activities using computer, web and telecommunications technology. It differentiates itself from industrial media by virtue of the fact that the cost of the tools necessary to participate is fairly low and allows all who want to access information or disseminate it, to do so relatively cheaply. On the other hand, examples of industrial media are printing presses, radio and television. Industrial media can be considered funnels that facilitate access to, and movement of huge quantities of information, whereas a website is the information container.
