Interviewers divided the group according to looks and then compared what those working similar jobs in each category were paid. Those who were below average in appearance earned less than those rated “average.” Those who rated average earned less than those who were rated “above average.”

The questions around the minimum wage are always going to create a heated discussion and in my opinion is just another way for governments and usually socialist style governments to control the economy and turn things in to a nanny state! What is a minimum wage? The minimum wage is the lowest hourly, daily or monthly wage that employers may legally pay to their employees. Minimum wage laws also prevent workers from selling their labour at an amount which is lower than the minimum wage level. Those that defend and advocate a minimum wage say that it increases the standard of living of workers and also reduces poverty.

These are facts: the top one percent of wage earners in America carry a full 40% of the tax burden. That's only about 1.4 million of us, carrying 40% of the load for the other approximately 300 million. And if the tax rates go back to pre-2001 levels, those 1.4 million who have all that money to invest (and with which to employ vast numbers of other wage earners) will certainly keep that money in their pockets... and that means it'll be sheltered from taxation.

Be Careful Not to Over-Improve!
In past articles I have spoken about focusing on repairs – not remodeling. This is mostly most true in cases of the average and below-average investment properties. Even when handling a higher-end property, caution is needed so that your precious profits are not eaten up entirely.
