One Economist to Rule Them All? Really? Do We Have To?
| |
| Last night on TV Ontario I participated in a roundtable discussion about economists’ culpability in the current financial mess, as well as about its potential for doing anything useful as we try to get out. We Are All Stewards on Spaceship Earth
| |
| Science is confirming what wisdom traditions have pointed to for thousands of years: that everything around us is part of a living universe, and that we are only stewards of whatever we think we “own.” As the old economy of fear and greed is crumbling, a new economy of partnership is being born. Many network marketing leaders are front-runners in this global shift. |

How not to abandon your e-procurement initiative
| |
| MARK HENRICKS' ARTICLE "Flaw and Order" (Entrepreneur Magazine, September 2004) referenced a behavioral economics study that identified the eight hidden strategy flaws frequently championed by corporate decisionmakers. | Last week I arrived home from a conference to an email inbox that was very full. I spotted an email with a subject line reading: Behavioral Test. Never mind that they’re not called tests. It’s a survey that spits out an assessment of a person's natural behavioral style. There are no wrong or right assessments. |

Social Emotional Intelligence in Leadership
| |
| Leaders and entire organizations have discovered that success in the workplace has significantly less to do with intelligence or core job competencies and more to do with emotional and behavioral intelligence. The best technicians and the most brilliant team members will often end up with the highest degree of dysfunction when their emotional intelligence is very low. The fattest human resource files have very little to do with job knowledge and generally, have a great deal to do with poor behavioral adaptation and emotional intelligence. |

Behavioral Tips and Interview Questions
| |
| Today, most employers are using behavioral interviews instead of the traditional personal interviews for selecting the candidates.
