Being Prepared Small Things Can Make a Difference
Often a big event "falls over" at the last hurdle, because of just one little thing that we failed to prepare for. This happened to me recently, and the lesson is - make lists! Even for the most mundane activity, lists can be the difference between success and failure. Read on.............

Sell Wants Not Needs
My mother used to say I never wanted anything–--everything I asked for was something I needed! We say "I need a new car", "I need to go on vacation", and "I need someone to clean my house". Have you ever heard someone say, "I want a new pair of shoes"? I bet even Amelda Marcos says "I need a new pair of shoes".

THE WEALTH WARRIOR
Two accounting students were crossing the campus together when one said, “Where did you get such a great bike?”

Setting An Example For Success One Foot At A Time
I was waiting for the great man to speak. He was supposed to be example of what young men who want to succeed can be. I was looking him over during his introduction. He was fashionably dressed from his suit and tie down to his shoes. It was while I was looking at his highly polished shoes I noticed the rather large hole in the sole of one of them.

Lesson #5: From Sight to Sound, Create a Signature Brand
It has been described as a “throaty pounding and off-centered drumming beat,” but everyone who owns a Harley-Davidson motorcycle knows what it is to hear one. In fact, the adept ear can pick a Harley out of a crowd before the eyes are even able to see it; every bike the company produces sounds the same when you turn the keys, and yet completely different from any other bike manufacturer. Attaching a unique sound to Harley-Davidson engines was just one of many deliberate steps the company’s four founders took to build a strong brand and a loyal following.

The Managers Most Useful Tool
Many, many years ago, I remember my mum saying to me: “Whatever you end up doing son, always ensure you buy the best shoes you can afford and keep them clean. You can tell a lot about someone through their shoes.” That statement has stuck with me for the past 30 years and I adhere to it, even today.

Home-based Business Idea: Shoe Repair
Shoe repair as a home-based business is especially rewarding. It allows sentimental shoe owners the chance to preserve their favorite shoes. Having their shoes repaired instead of thrashing them at a slightest instance enables them to have more savings.

The SEO experts shoes
You've heard the tale of the cobbler's children who have the most worn shoes at school? Shoes full of holes, patched up, leaking, broken to pieces. Smart kids, clean tidy haircuts kids, well mannered, good natured, hard working, fun to be around - it's just the shoes that look out of place and tatty.

Leaders Take Responsibility for Their Choices
When our son Chris was four years old he desperately wanted to graduate from his Big Wheel tricycle to a real two-wheeled bike. He started with training wheels on the bike but soon wanted them removed and didn't want me holding the bike for him. The result was that each time he tried to ride the bike, he'd fall after going just a short distance. After his sixth failed attempt, his frustration got the better of him: He grabbed the bike off the ground and bit the front tire as hard as he could. Clearly, it was all the bike's fault!

Riding into Risk - Only In My Mind!
Many years later after having my children and long after the risk taking years – I re-learned to ride a motorcycle. Only this time the bike was 3 times the size and weighed in at about 487 lbs. I learned not only how to ride it safely by taking a course – but also learned how to lift it – in case I ever fell or dropped it. (which I did a few times!) I rode for four years before we moved and sold the bike. Three years went by before we decided to get another motorcycle.
