It Takes A Winner To Become A Champion
We’ve all heard “Champions are not born; they are made.” This is true for YOU were not born a champion; you were born to win.Research now shows that the talent; or lack of natural talent we were born with is irrelevant to great success. Moreover, scientific experts’ findings, across many fields, conclude that talent goes beyond intelligence or personal traits. The Past, Present and Future Workforce
According to business surveys, there are currently 4 generations in the workplace. Those born before 1945 (called Veterans), those born between 1945 and mid-1960 (called Boomers), those born between 1965 and 1980 (known as Gen Xers), and those born after 1980 (either Nexters or Gen Yers). This creates a minimum age span difference of at least 35 years. This may not seem to be significant by itself, but I remember when I turned 21, I thought 35 was ancient. Now that I am a part of the seasoned generation (also known as the middle of the road between the Veterans and Boomers), 35 is a youngster.

Are you done? I love underdogs. This love for the less likely winner may be the result of that that I was an underdog many times throughout my life. I was born a sickly child, lost my parents at a young age, experienced extreme poverty, had little or no education (dropped out of school after eighth grade), amassed fortunes and lost them, lost my sisters and oldest son, and that’s just a small part of my “Under Dog List.” Regardless of all the disadvantages and failures in my life, I always possessed (and still do) a “Keep Going” attitude. Even when I had no idea on how to survive into the next moment, let alone the next day, I would keep going. When I could not figure out what to do next, I would keep going with whatever I could at the moment. When we keep going, something always comes through for us.
