Sales Training – Introvert Salespeople Celebrate Speed Reduction Day to Rev Up Sales!

How To Plan An Online Business Event

How to Increase Your Productivity and Profit From Your Image
I attended a business women's event last week and was amazed at how many of the attendees presented themselves. This was a business event and the way in which many of them dressed you would have thought they were going to a local football game! I met a 'coach' who raved about how successful she was and what she does for her clients. This person was at least 10kgs overweight, her chest was exposed and her clothes were very inappropriate for a business environment. If you were looking for a coach, would you consider investing in her services? She obviously had her own issues to deal with. What she said didn't match how she looked. In contrast there was the mortgage broker who was dressed extremely well in a tailored suit, who obviously took pride in her appearance and looked confident and competent.

Make Time For Your Life Before it's Too Late
It’s amazing to see so many people who are prepared to sacrifice their lives for the sake of their business. I’m sure you know of someone like that. They get up at the crack of dawn, drag their weary bodies out of the house and head off for another rollercoaster ride at work. Ten or twelve hours later they head home totally exhausted with all their energy sapped from their body.

How to ‘let go’ of a situation you obsess about in your mind
Most people I talk to have at least one situation in their life that they ‘hold onto’, and can’t seem to let it go. Sometimes it’s a recent event, like how a meeting or a conversation went; sometimes it’s an event in the past like the breakup of a business partnership (or a personal relationship), or being let go from a job.

Using New Event Marketing to Promote Your Small Business
Organizing an educational event such as a seminar or conference is a great way to get out of the office and network with prospective clients and promote your small business within your community. However, a traditional event marketing format presents some challenges to small business owners, including the costs of putting on an event, creating buzz ("Not another breakfast speaker series"), being able to offer attendees value, etc. So how can your small business take advantage of the benefits of educational event marketing while minimizing some of the risks and pressures associated with putting on a successful seminar or conference?

Creating a Memorable Launch for Your Salon or Spa
If you are just starting your salon or spa business or expanding a good way to let people know you exist is to hold a ˇ§launch party or a "Grand Opening." You don't have to have your event on your first day, week, or even month in business. Give yourself a little time to get your business underway. Think of this primarily as a marketing event not just a celebration.

60-Second Commercial
At some point during a networking event, you will have a chance to talk about your business - whether it's a formal part of the event where you speak in front of everyone or it's during informal one-on-one conversations. You need to have a 60-second commercial prepared and memorized before attending the event so that you can easily, calmly, and succinctly talk about your business.

Guest Post: From Nateedmondson.com
I don’t want to publicly criticize anyone in particular, so I’m going to try and be careful with this explanation, but the reason I started thinking about this whole “God thing” idea is because of a recent use of the phrase that I thought seemed a little skeptical. There was an event that had been planned for months and about a week or so before a few details hadn’t been worked out yet. Thankfully everything ended up working out and the event was a success. After the event was underway and all systems were functional one of the leaders of this event made the statement, “man.. it’s just really a God thing. We had a lot of last minute details fall through on us and I’m just so pleased God worked everything out to his glory..”

3 Simple Ways to get RESULTS at your next event
Event marketing is hardly a sure thing for attracting new referrals and new business. You may be able to get the crowds through the door, but what are they there for? Even with its challenges, however, event marketing is still one of the best ways to gather potentially interested individuals for a specific purpose - the scheduled event. But there are three simple things that may significantly improve the results of your next event.

Calculating Probability in Your Business Success
Much success in business can be calculated by using simple laws of probability. When we say that one event is more probable than another, we mean it’s more likely to happen. The branch of mathematics called probability tries to express in numbers, statements of the form: An event (A) is more or less probable than an event(B).

The Value of Connecting
“I am so tired of going to business meetings that turn into social event – they are a waste of time”. Attending a networking event or business meeting is only as valuable as you make it. Many of us tire of attending events where we feel it turns into a social event – and we wonder at the value we receive by attending. Sure we may get a meal, or free drink or snacks – but let’s be realistic – it takes time out of our schedules and costs money too.
