Active writing is when you have somebody doing something in the sentence. “The door was open” is passive. “Joe opened the door” is active. “Joe kicked open the door,” is even more active. |

Jotting notes on loose pads of paper, using sticky notes for phone numbers and scrawling a customer reference on the back of an envelope or business card are all symptoms of poor personal organisation. |
