It’s not where you’re from, it’s where you’re going.
| |
| Oh the Holidays… The crisp snap of the winter breeze, lights emerging from every corner imaginable; illuminating the evening skies like the sun just squeezed itself through the screen door. It’s a time for celebration, a time for reflection. For smiles, and long overdue embraces that have sat on shelves collecting the dust of neglect.

Don’t Forget to Celebrate Your Accomplishments!
| |
| If you are at all like me you spend a significant amount of time beating yourself up for NOT doing what you know you should do. Most of the achievement oriented people I know do this quite a bit. It is as though they are on a quest for perfection and anything less than that is unsatisfying.
Don't get me wrong ... I think it's a great thing to be on a quest for perfection, and I believe people who are, will ultimately experience a good deal of success because they'll never feel as though they've arrived. There will always be something else to accomplish.

TRUST
| |
| It is popular amongst successful entrepreneurs to talk about certain intangibles that make for good business. Intangibles such as leadership, innovation, persistence and follow- through. I say this, because I too speak of these things, both passionately and often. Their importance goes without questioning. Each cannot be given, and consequently must be earned. Each is intrinsically valuable in and of itself, and may stand as a singular example of character. |

These epiphanies can transform one’s outlook regarding time and how it is handled. One of the most important recognitions is understanding time, not as a menacing clock ticking away, but as a valuable commodity. |

Worry, worry, worry – when will it end?
| |
| Worry is the wonderful emotion that drains our energy. My experience is that worry focuses around two areas: 1) real issues that are so huge it seems we cannot ever solve it, or 2) issues that usually go away, with or without our worry. Whatever your worry category, the solution is the same. We need to understand our worry and identify what we can control and what we can’t. |

Handle With Care: Employee Personnel Records!

| When a client begins a conversation with the words, "So I got a letter from the Attorney General's office," it is rarely cause for celebration.
