The Fine Art of Dealing with Dominant People
Direct, decisive, determined, domineering. These are just some of the words that describe a highly dominant personality. Everyone knows one. You might even be one. Dominant people are the leaders, the pioneers, the risk-takers. Companies are run by them, wars are led by them, innovation follows in their wake. These are the people that we look to lead us where we might not otherwise go. If you are lucky, you will work for one. If you are really lucky, their office will be in another state. Yes, dominant people are the ones we love to hate, or at least hate to talk to (notice that I did not mention listening as a strong point). Get off on the wrong foot with one and your career can take an unwelcome sidetrack. Have them on your side and you have a strong champion. So how can you effectively communicate with such a power personality?

'Purposeful Change': The Way Forward
Change happens all around us, but we're not 'victims' of change. We have a critical part to play in seeing that change moves us in a positive direction. That's what 'purposeful change' is all about: getting involved as an architect of the future.

Challenging the Status Quo
Challenging the status quo receives its first life when there is a recognized awareness of the need to change. Inertia, It’s Not a River in Egypt
I just looked up inertia on Wikipedia: "... the resistance of an object to a change in its state of motion [...] inertia means that an object will always continue moving at its current speed and in its current direction until some force causes its speed or direction to change."

Is Your Ego A Spoiled Child!
Have you been looking to or trying to understand better who or what the ego is as a way to understand it so that you can get past it? I have and I've been given some interesting answers from my Angel Guides. The ego has for far too long gone unchecked and has caused much havoc and it is now time to change that. The biggest reason why this has happened, I believe, is due to lack of awareness in regards to the ego. It is difficult to change the direction of something if we are not aware of which direction it is going. I trust this article will give you one more perspective and will increase your awareness of the things your ego is doing that, just maybe, you are not fully aware of yet.

Success and Your Personal Mission and Vision
Successful people define a clarity of purpose and direction for their lives and careers. Your clarity of purpose and direction should include both a personal mission (your purpose) and a personal vision (your direction). Your mission is your reason for living, why you are on this earth. It is unlikely to change over the long run. Your vision is a short or medium term goal that defines the direction you will take over the next three to five years. It will change are you grow and develop in your life and career. Your vision must be consistent with your mission.
