THE DISNEY DIFFERENCE How One Man Rose Above Bankruptcy Failure To Building a MultiBillion $ Empire
Try to imagine a world without Walt Disney. A world without his magic, optimism and childlike fantasy. Walt Disney pioneered the fields of animation, and transformed the entertainment world. He did more to touch the hearts, minds, and emotions of millions of Americans than any other person in the past century. The Walt Disney Company - now a mega-empire whose profits (yes, profits!) are $1.3 billion - was the creation of a high school drop out who suffered bankruptcy, risked it all 4 times and suffered repeated financial and business disasters. How did one man overcome the greatest of challenges to become a legend ... a folk hero ... a master of enterprise? Read this article and learn the secret to Walt Disney's mega-success and how you can apply this secret to transform your boldest business visions into reality.

Calvin Klein Ads
If there is one thing Calvin Klein ads are known for it is pushing the boundaries of what is considered socially acceptable. Ever since 1980, when the company placed 15 year old Brooke Shields on one its ads, with the tagline “Nothing comes between me and my Calvins,” Klein has been pushing the advertising envelope. From there, he began mounting giant billboards in the middle of New York City’s Times Square that featured buff male models with nothing on but their white CK briefs, and using childlike models, such as Kate Moss, to help sell his Obsession perfume.

Be Impressed, Grasshopper, Not Impressive
To have clients like you, you must be impressed, rather than impressive. But it's also more than being impressed. You must listen deeply and ask questions with Childlike Curiosity-not just about the problem you were trained to solve, but about his family, his hopes and his dreams.

Square Peg Round Hole
In his wonderful book The Element, Sir Ken Robinson tells a story that I’m sure many people can relate to. In it, a young girl named Gillian is having trouble concentrating at school. The school – suspecting a learning disability – asks her mother to take 8-year-old Gillian to see a psychiatrist for evaluation. After hearing from the girl’s mother how the girl is always disturbing her classmates, her homework is sloppy and always late – the doctor asks to speak with Gillian alone. Before escorting the mother outside for a private conference, the doctor turns on the radio in the room to occupy Gillian. As soon as the music began to play, the girl was on her feet. From outside the room, Gillian’s mother observed for a few minutes as she moved beautifully to the music, dancing around the room, lost in a childlike trance.
