Video Games…So Many Options, So Little Time
| |
| The fun and fantasy of the recent E3 conference was breathtaking. It's great to see gaming bouncing back and the console folks doing their darndest to breath new life into their systems -- especially since they haven't done a refresh design for way so many years, you begin to wonder...
It was so cool because we were all ready to see the rebound. But wait a minute isn't it just like WarGames -- a lot of make believe along with some real world reality? Our house has the "standard" console(s). Our house has the "standard" HD TV set(s). Our house doesn't have any 3D content but then the game folks won't have theirs for "a few months." So what else is there? Right! The online gaming world is huge and getting even larger. |

Sharing the Cost of Mobile Speed, Content
| |
| Ok every device manufacturer, every service provider (around the globe) is hot to trot to ensure they get their unfair share of your mobile device, content, service dollar (or respective currency). Heck in a year or two we'll even have all the bandwidth to provide the level of service you expect and they're promising. Sure folks are talking about a ton of professional video but it will be a lot of personal/family photos/video across the bandwidth. As they say the service will be good and sure it's a little expensive. That's where mobile advertising comes into play and man agencies/companies are all over a targeted way of reaching/influencing you like a bear on honey. They're moving fast to beat each other to the finish line. Some will never finish the race...so which ones will you bet (invest) your money on?

Entertainment Usage Keep Changing, Growing
| |
| The world of content and entertainment is changing right before our eyes. People want their entertianment on their big screen, on their PC, on their mobile whatever. The "pro" content providers (the dudes/dudettes) who earn the big $$$$ are really trying to figure out what YOU are doing wrong! Their weekly schedule is good. It's logica. It's what consumers want. Should be they change it enough.
But then there's that pesky Internet stuff and suddenly people can get their content when they want...day/night, home/office/round-the-globe. That sorta, kinda sucks. How do you charge big $$$ for advertising when people don't all watch at the same time? Why are folks screaming out their windows? What are they saying? We think we know but find out more on this link. |

Women Are More Savvy than "The Rest" Want to Admit
| |
| Think about it. Women dominate the web (almost) everywhere except at LinkedIn. According to "them" it's because women don't get it.
You tell our wife...we won't.
Look around the web though and women lead, control, manage. They're also the people the LinkedIn folks want to connect with and yet the site's management looks down their nose at the stronger half of the species.
We're betting females probably have more or better things to do. Here's why...
