RSS stands for Real Simple Syndication. However, what it really does is to convert our beautifully formatted webpages to text so that the Search Engine robots (spiders) can index and list our websites.
It is important to know that not all websites have a RSS feed (that's the terminology tech types like to use). Typically, static websites - those sites that have the content hard coded into the each page - don't have RSS enabled.
