For the past six years, we have been tracking performance on a Chally assessment versus actual performance on the job across many countries. Yesterday March 29, Canada hosted a summit of five Arctic coastal countries (Canada, Russia, the U.S., Norway and Denmark). There is renewed interest in the arctic because global warming has melted massive ice sheets revealing vast new reserves of oil and other resources. The Arctic meeting was criticized for an insufficient environmental focus and the exclusion of several key players.
