Tune Out and Tune In
| |
| Why is it that a person is willing to listen to the author of a self-help book, yet discounts their own thoughts, feelings, and intuition? What makes one person’s insight more correct than another’s? Perhaps the answer lies in one’s belief that they really can find the solution to a question. THE ROAD TO WEALTH
| |
| In the first chapter of his book, The Science of Getting Rich, Wallace D. Wattles said, ‘The object of all life is development, and everything that lives has an inalienable right to all the development it is capable of attaining.
A person’s right to life means his right to have the free and unrestricted use of all the things which may be necessary to his fullest mental, spiritual, and physical unfoldment; or, in other words, his right to be rich. The person who owns all he wants for the living of all the life he is capable of living is rich, and no person who has not plenty of money can have all he wants’.
If you think about it the road to wealth is accessible to all who earnest seek to find its corridors. But to achieve wealth one must have clear goals, dogged persistence and the correct mindset.

However, even though they may have certain desirable skills, they may not be right for the job at hand. The key is not just to hire the right person, but to hire the right person for the right job.Taking the time to make the correct hire in the first place is worth all of the effort it takes. The right person in the right job will be productive for years to come. The right person in the wrong job will cause problems, waste time, and expense and send you back to square one again. |

How To Calm An Angry Person, II
| |
| If you want to be an inspirational leader, you have to deal in the realm of emotions. I've had several clients over the years who sought to manage from pure logic, from rational analysis, from a perspective that "the numbers will tell us what to do." That's OK for management, and people certainly appreciate knowing they're doing the logically-correct thing, but it's an approach that falls short of the sort of inspirational leadership that ignites the passion to go beyond the "correct" to the "great...." |
