Personality
My dictionary tells me that personality is the "personal or individual quality that makes one person be different and act differently from another." Personality is "the total physical, intellectual and emotional structure of an individual, including abilities, interests and attitudes." Personality is the sum total of all of our qualities. With this in mind, let's explore the benefits and ramifications of a pleasing personality.

Culture and Institutional Reform
Culture is often described as "the way we do things around here." In fact it is more complex. It is also feelings, underlying beliefs, values, history, and assumptions about an organization. Those are rooted in experiences, stories, and behaviour patterns sometimes decades or centuries old. The culture tells people what is and is not okay. Culture is enduring, difficult to develop or reshape.Despite that, fundamental culture change is necessary for the reforms envisaged in Results for Canadians.

Creating a Culture
Every company no matter what size develops some type of culture. The culture can be a productive one or, the culture can be a negative one. Whether you set out to create one or not your company develops a culture. That culture is the perception of employees who see and hear how things are done. Your culture is the summary of your environment, morale and management style. This article discusses what you can do to create the kind of culture which will move your company forward.

Company Culture the Personality of Your Business and Brand
Is your company culture fear-based, trust-based, or strengths-based? Take a few moments to think about it. How would you know the difference? It’s vital information that reflects the personality of both your business and brand. In a fear-based culture the traditional hierarchy dominates. Managers tell uninspired employees what to do and how to do it based on the assumption that the company is a machine that needs willing servants to function properly. Does this sound overly simplified? In reality, the fear factor might express itself with more subtlety but it always comes down to a one-way communication channel. It is no surprise that creativity and innovation suffer while productivity slows down when fear is the motivator.

Your personality is the result of years or shaping and molding from the time you were born until the present. Some of you may have what is referred to as a “strong” personality. Some may have what is referred to as a “difficult” personality. Many more of you may have what is referred to as a “weak” personality. Learn how to develop a strong, indomitable spirit and accomplish more in life, happiness and more.

Your Built Environment
I've always been the architect of my own happiness. Whether that meant virtually ignoring my initial job description as a young consultant at Deloitte, or creating my own company culture as a CEO (a work that's always in progress), I've aligned my career and my environment - the people around me - to my own personality and values system.

Personality Assessments - They Still Don't Get it
On the heels of these three articles: * Personality Assessments for Sales - The Definitive Case Study * Exposed - Personality Tests Disguised as Sales Assessments * Sales Assessments vs. Personality Assessments Episode III - The PHD's Strike Back I got the following email forwarded to me. As you read it, just look at the descriptors that the client is referencing in the personality assessments - they are not sales descriptors so, in essence, we have another examples of an assessment that claims to be measuring one thing but is actually measuring another:
