In the first chapter of his book, The Science of Getting Rich, Wallace D. Wattles said, ‘The object of all life is development, and everything that lives has an inalienable right to all the development it is capable of attaining. A person’s right to life means his right to have the free and unrestricted use of all the things which may be necessary to his fullest mental, spiritual, and physical unfoldment; or, in other words, his right to be rich. The person who owns all he wants for the living of all the life he is capable of living is rich, and no person who has not plenty of money can have all he wants’. If you think about it the road to wealth is accessible to all who earnest seek to find its corridors. But to achieve wealth one must have clear goals, dogged persistence and the correct mindset.

Popeil was just sixteen years old when he began selling his father’s products on Chicago’s infamous Maxwell Street. His workday would start at 5 a.m., when he used to arrive at the market and spend one hour cutting and preparing fifty pounds each of onions, cabbages, and carrots, and more than one hundred pounds of potatoes each day. After that, Popeil would demonstrate and try to sell his products from 6 a.m. until 4 p.m. On average during his 11-hour work days, Popeil would bring in $500 on a daily basis.

Eastman was a hard worker at the Rochester Savings Bank. He was meticulous in his record-keeping and never missed a day, despite staying awake at nights to work on his photographic dry plates.
