Beware Of Spam Withdrawals
I am so sick of all the spam that is sent to my business email address. I spend an hour every morning just trying to sort out the good email from the bad. I know I could just delete it all, but I'm afraid I'll accidentally delete email that might be important to my business. Short of unplugging my computer, what's the best solution for dealing with spam?

Your speeches and presentations should impress and persuade
Too many speeches and presentations are dull, depending on endless powerpoint and not enthusing the audience. But with relative ease you can ensure the audience is catching every point.

Doing Poorly Until You Learn To Do Better
Anything worth doing is worth doing poorly. When I was a youngster I got into a number of fist fights on the school grounds. Now fighting was obviously frowned on by all teachers, but in those days kids settled differences between themselves and there was never any thought--regardless of the outcome of the tussle, which in most cases lasted just two or three blows--of getting a knife or a baseball bat, certainly not a gun, to get even with the victor. No, once the scuffle ended it was all over.

Yawn..Do Your Customers Think You're Dull?
Well - it really breaks another big rule of SELLING. When you're dull - you're not different. When you're not different (with something that is important to your customer) -they feel that you're exactly like your competitor.

Top 10 Chef Jimmy Must Have Kitchen Essentials
It doesn't take fancy equipment to be a great cook, but it does a few simple pieces of equipment. Frankly, I'd rather use a knife than a mandolin and my fingers than a pastry cutter. Start with these inexpensive kitchen items and build your kitchen repertoire from there.

Would you get A Tattoo of the General Motors’ Logo?
When was the last time you were really excited about the customer service you received? A recent survey showed that 44% of people rate the customer service they usually receive as dull and bland. Most customer service experiences are, well ok, and we unusually come away somewhat satisfied from the experience. This is all well and good, but most of your competitors are already doing this. To stand out from the competition you need to demonstrate customer service on a dramatically different level: service that is anything but bland and dull! Think Disney, Harley Davidson, or Apple.

Charismatic Leadership and a Piece of Cake
Think about when you have met someone who you have described later as "spectacular" or "electric" or "amazing". What do you think the one special thing was about him or her? Most of us think charisma belongs to someone who is an extrovert, who has a strong handshake, who tells a great joke. That may well be. Yet, if that is all that is there the attraction will become dull and boring after the second or third encounter.

If Nature Castigates Those Who Don’t Masticate, Could It Also Misshape Midriffs of Those Without Knife and Forklifts?
Is Knife and Forklift a modern form of Fletcherizing that entrepreneurs in particular might consider adopting?

How to Be a Better Boss
The best bosses keep chipping away at a huge pile of tasks-some interesting, others dull but necessary. Their leadership prowess is measured by how well they handle the frustrations associated with people and performance.

Don’t Blame Mental Pause
Lately I catch myself in mid-action, trying to remember what the heck I was doing. Or trying to remember what I was going to do next, where I was going when I started up my web browser. To add insult to injury, the other night I cut my finger reaching for my phone on my kitchen counter. I'd just turned the lights off but I knew the phone was there. I simply forgot that I’d placed the knife next to the phone. I hurriedly reached for the phone, and sliced myself pretty good.
