Time is not a discriminator nor does it have any favorites. Time is fair and always ready to serve anyone who understands it. How we use the time we are allotted each day will have a definite impact on our outcomes or results. We are stewards of how we invest our time each day. We must treat time as more precious than money. Being good stewards of time will unlock the key to success in our lives and businesses.

Though many so-called progressives would love to separate them, from my point of view there are two other continua which march more-or-less in lockstep with communism-capitalism. These are statism-liberty, and atheism-faith. If I correctly remember my eighth-grade history (a subject which is, due to the progressivism currently under discussion, no longer much taught), capitalism has as its running-buddies individual liberty and faith in God. Communism's pals, in stark contrast, are authoritarian control of individuals by the state, and denial of the Almighty in favor of an allegiance to the state that amounts to idolatry.

Are you done? I love underdogs. This love for the less likely winner may be the result of that that I was an underdog many times throughout my life. I was born a sickly child, lost my parents at a young age, experienced extreme poverty, had little or no education (dropped out of school after eighth grade), amassed fortunes and lost them, lost my sisters and oldest son, and that’s just a small part of my “Under Dog List.” Regardless of all the disadvantages and failures in my life, I always possessed (and still do) a “Keep Going” attitude. Even when I had no idea on how to survive into the next moment, let alone the next day, I would keep going. When I could not figure out what to do next, I would keep going with whatever I could at the moment. When we keep going, something always comes through for us.
Fight or Flight
Recently, I spent quite a bit of time with a dear friend of mine who could best be described as the quintessential Southern gentlemen. He is well into his eighth decade of life but, in many ways, his attitudes and demeanor harken back even farther to a much-earlier time.
