Revealing Ourselves
We reveal ourselves in many different ways: By the people with whom we associate, the way we use our free time, our clothing, our sense of humor, etc. We even reveal ourselves by the way we walk, talk, the way we handle our successes and our failures.

Council on Foreign Relations Tracks 2008 Candidates on Africa Policy
One of my all time favorite publications, dealing with economics and international affairs, is the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) . I have been reading this journal for almost a decade and view it almost in the way that I’d view an encyclopedia. So you can imagine my enthusiasm for them drawing attention towards U.S. Policy Toward Africa. In this instance what they have done is created a tool that can be used to summarize the views and records of each presidential candidate for the 2008 US elections. CFR has named this tool the Issue Tracker -The Candidates on U.S. Policy toward Africa.

Similarity Hueristics, Iterative Methodologies and the Emergence of the Modern Supply Chain
Some professions, such as software developers, regularly utilize the similarity heuristic. For software developers, the similarity heuristic is utilized when performing debugging tasks. A software bug exhibits a set of symptoms indicating the existence of a problem. In general, similar symptoms are caused by similar types of programming errors. By comparing these symptoms with those of previously corrected software flaws, a developer is able to determine the most probable cause and take an effective course of action. Over time, a developer’s past experiences will allow their use of the similarity heuristic to be highly effective, quickly choosing the debugging approach that will likely reveal the problem’s source. (Note: check out the eWorld venue because as I had indicated, the conference “has become the conduit between substance starved professionals and the emerging companies (and technologies) that promise to reshape supply chain practice for the next ten years and beyond.”)

World of Turk: How Millions are Helping Billions
In the 1960’s, the Beatles’ famously sang about getting by “With A Little Help from My Friends”. Today websites like Wikipedia, Word Press, and Amazon are bringing a whole new meaning to the concept of relying on others to help you reach your goals. In the digital age friends are not so much “friends” as they are collaborators, and these collaborators are generally anonymous strangers motivated by either a small sum of money or a desire to contribute to a shared project. From a massive online encyclopedia to secretive government initiatives, people around the world are facilitating a digital phenomenon.
