Cut Energy – Cut Costs
With energy costs rising cutting energy use is one way to save money. Although it may be good for the environment, sometimes it is easy and sometimes it is not.

Sales Productivity: Manage Your Energy
What affects our energy levels? You already know the answer to that question. Nutrition, sleep, stress, physical fitness, attitudes, emotions, and environment are the major influencers of our levels of energy. How do you improve these aspects of our life so we maximize our level of energy?

Small Business Tips - Energy Conservation Isn't Just For Light-Bulbs And Water
One thing that most small business owners forget with all of this focus on the environment is their own personal energy conservation. It is nothing for a business owner to try and cram in a few hours after the kids are asleep – even if their eyes need superglue to remain open. But when you are a business owner your personal energy conservation is vital. In most cases without you there is no business. Unless you conserve your own energy, your body will eventually exhaust itself and force you to slow down, usually at the most inconvenient times when you have clients on a deadline.

Energy suckers vs Energy feeders.
The biggest source of energy suckers in your life is yourself. You are the one cutting corners by not respecting your own needs, eating well, exercising or making time for fun in your life. Anything that takes the fun out of your life is an ‘energy sucker’ and anything that puts the fun back into your life is an ‘energy giver’ and feeds you energy. Identify your ‘suckers’ and replace them with ‘feeders’ that feed you with energy and enthusiasm.

Make a Green Home
A green home will reduce energy and water consumption. And it will save you money, and help the environment.

Life is a Mirror
Philosophers through the ages have taught us that individuals attract the same energy they put out to the universe. If you think negative thoughts, then negativity will come back to you. If your outlook is positive and upbeat, that is how the world will approach you. I am not a philosopher myself, but I subscribe to the simple wisdom that energy begets energy. I see applications for the theory especially helpful in the working environment. I have been having some discussions with students recently and would be interested in your comments in this forum. Some people are constantly feeling besieged with problems coming at them from other people, who they say have bad attitudes. My take is that if what you see coming at you is other people that are sour, it is really a good time to take a long hard look in the mirror.

Resorts Going Green
Going green is not just a good idea for impressing guests and supporting the environment, but energy-saving practices also often benefit the bottom line.

Your Renewable Energy
Are you fueling your life and passions with “renewable energy”? Renewable Energy is considered to: be energy generated from natural resources; or energy that is replenished at the same rate it is used; energy coming from sources that can be replenished; or even energy produced from inexhaustible sources. As I thought about this topic and thought about Winter in Michigan, staying indoors or bundling up to go out, I was reminded that Spring will be here soon.

Green Power; A Home Built Headache?
One of the primary focuses of anyone looking to live a greener lifestyle is of course, energy. Energy consumption is something that we simply cannot avoid. At home and at work, we are almost always using up some form of energy. The goal of many people ( and hopefully yourself) is to find alternative energy sources for the energy we need. Ideally, this green power source should not only be more environmentally friendly, it should also be cheaper than the current energy source. So just where do we find these alternative energy sources?

Inspiring Local Success - April 2011
Take your business from good to GREAT by fueling your business with “renewable energy.” Renewable Energy is considered to: be energy generated from natural resources; or energy that is replenished at the same rate it is used; energy coming from sources that can be replenished; or even energy produced from inexhaustible sources.
