He might not be as well known as the ‘other’ Steve, Apple co-founder Steve Jobs, but Steve Wozniak had just as much impact on the computer industry as we know it today. It is more important to help people grow sanely than quickly. The belief that there's no such thing as too much growth has killed hundreds of companies, careers, marriages, and dreams.

The Top 10 Common Pricing Mistakes Most Companies Make
Price strategy is emerging as the most important resource for companies to increase their competitive advantage. The vast majority of companies have spent years achieving gains through cost cutting, outsourcing, process re-engineering and the adoption of innovative technologies. However, the incremental benefits from these important activities are diminishing, and companies need to look at other areas to improve their business results. How do CEOs think?
I travel regularly to meet our customers. Normally, we work with the VP Engineering and the CTO of product Companies. I meet them regularly and most of the time our meetings are technical discussions or discussions about specific projects we may be working on. As the market was slow, most of our customers were not in a position to discuss specific projects. Most projects were on hold, and our customers were under pressure from their CEOs and Boards to reduce costs. This meant that they were pushing us for rate discounts.

THE BEST WAY TO LEAD : PURSUE YOUR PASSION
"I was just pursuing what I enjoyed doing. I mean, I was pursuing my passion," says Omidyar. "It is not really work if you are having fun...that was the case with me." From the time he was a young boy, Omidyar knew that his future lied in computers. He didn't know in what capacity, but when other boys were out playing baseball, Omidyar was busy teaching himself Basic. To have denied himself a career in what was obviously his passion would have been to deny himself the success of eBay. "I always wanted to be involved with computers," recalls Omidyar. His original career choice was computer engineering, but enrollment in Tufts quickly changed that decision. He had been accepted into a rigorous electrical engineering and computer engineering program, but by his own admission, it proved a little too rigorous for Omidyar.

Engineer Yourself a Better 2011
For whatever reason, I have spent a lot of my time, particularly within the last three years, working with a lot of companies who have sales engineers - meaning that they hire people with engineering backgrounds to be salespeople.
