2nd Annual Beyond the Tears Humanitarian Awards, 2008
Not even the crazy downpour/storm that hit New York on September 6th, 2008 could stop the Second Annual Beyond the Tears Humanitarian Awards. The second annual event began with the very funny, Nollywood handsome actor and comedian, Francis Duru welcoming the audience. His jokes through out the evening was the icing to a great evening. Sales Training Can the Introvert Salespeople Find Happy Hour Bliss?
The history differs about the origins of Happy Hour. Happy Hour would also be planned differently whether it was salespeople who are introverts or extroverts.

Traffic Problems solved by Flexible working
We have all been there, trying to get to work during rush hour. A journey that should only take 10-15 minutes under normal circumstances takes an hour or more due to the increasing traffic on roads. This means staff are often ‘stressed-out’ by the time they reach their workplace. Thanks to Simon Thurlow for help with this article.

The Secret To Internet Marketing Success
The Secret to Internet Marketing Success is not surfing for the next big thing. It is about finding what works and sticking to a focused plan of action. It's nothing sexy, nothing you can't do. It's about the 100 hour and 500 hour rule.

Why your first hour at work is the most critical hour of your day
Do you sometimes find yourself spending the first hour of your day chatting to co-workers and checking through your huge inbox while answering a few emails?Do you sometimes find it hard to get started in the morning? If you answered “yes”, you’re not alone. Many professional people tend to write off the first hour of their day as unproductive preparation time – but this can be a disastrous mistake.

Help! There Are Not Enough Hours in the Day
How many times do you hear yourself say, “I wish I had more hours in the day,” or “I don’t have enough time.” When you include sleep, can you honestly say that you’ve had a productive day and maximized all 1440 minutes allotted? Perhaps a quick glance at the evening news might turn into an hour. Maybe you planned on checking out one website, but find an interesting link and click on it, and then you continue clicking more links. Soon enough, you spent nearly two hours checking out travel deals and reading all the gossip news, and haven’t accomplished anything. Where did all the minutes go?

Why Are Meetings One Hour Long?
The vast majority of meetings in the business world are scheduled for one hour. I think this is a paradigm we should challenge for several reasons. 1. Like an old habit, we just fall into the pattern without even thinking about it. 2. We lose track of those extremely valuable minutes within the hour format. We can do better than that. 3. The meeting itself is often inefficient as there is time to schmooze for the first 20 minutes or so, and most of the decisions occur in the final 10 minutes of a meeting. There are many techniques for squeezing more usable time from our daily schedule – and we really need them. Next time you schedule a meeting, try making it 50 minutes rather than an hour. It will emphasize the importance of the minutes and save time in the bargain.

The Sign of a True Sales Pro - Admitting We’re Never Too Good for Coaching
Ringggg. Ringggg. Not my favorite sound in the evening. It was Virginia, someone I knew, trying to explain why I needed her services. I hung up feeling like I had dodged the bullet for now…and went on with my evening. Later she called back for advice on what she could have done differently to improve her call. That is a sign of great professionalism.

Let Me Promote Your Product (or Location) to Millions
This post will be short and sweet. The book launch for The 4-Hour Body, the follow-up to The 4-Hour Workweek (#1 NY Times, 35 languages), will be enormous. There will be big media, incredible partnerships, never-before-seen experiments, and much, much more. Here are two things I’m looking to add to the mix:
