Lesson #2: Keep Your Wits About You
In 1974, when Forbes asked Buffett how he felt about the stock market at the time, Buffett replied, “Like an oversexed guy in a whorehouse.” Whether it was talking to the media about smart investments or explaining the company’s performance in his annual letter to shareholders, Buffett never lost his sense of humour. Indeed, it became one of his trademarks for which he is revered.

Abject Executive Poverty
If you, as an executive are not happy, then you might want to read my story of round trip rags to riches. I, as an executive, was not happy either with all that "stuff" that money could buy. There was an emptiness that expensive suits, business class travel, and four or five star hotels could not fill. Yet, as an aftermath of Global Financial Crisis that cost my tiny company $180,000, I realized what real happiness was all about.

Myth Buster: Factoring Is Too Expensive?
One of the many myths surrounding the factoring industry is that factoring is simply too expensive to be considered a viable commercial financing option for the average small business. In the end, the cheapest solution often costs more because it did not solve the problem.

What to watch for when Shopping at a Franchise Expo
Attending a franchise exposition allows you to view and compare a variety of franchise possibilities. Keep in mind that exhibitors at the exposition primarily want to sell their franchise systems. Be cautious of salespersons who are interested in selling a franchise that you are not interested in. Before you attend, research what type of franchise best suits your investment limitations, experience, and goals. When you attend, comparison shop for the opportunity that best suits your needs and ask questions.
