Why real change after culture change initiatives often fail
Why is it that so many culture change iniaitives fail? You Choose To Be Affected By Outside Circumstances
Change is happening all around us all the time. The way in which we respond to change determines whether we succeed or fail. Business leaders during challenging times must remain focused on success, not just survival. Engaging the assistance of a business coach will cure the myopic view that prevents changing tactics and causes owners to ride their company all the way to bankruptcy.

Public Sector Procurement Practice and the Principles of External Economies, Clustering and the Global Value Chain
Can the public sector effectively apply the principles of External Economies to its procurement practice? “External economies of scale (ES) occur outside of a firm, within an industry. Thus, when an industry’s scope of operations expands due to, for example, the creation of a better transportation network, resulting in a subsequent decrease in costs for a company working within that industry, external economies of scale are said to have been achieved. With external ES, all firms within the industry will benefit.” (What Are Economies of Scale? By Reem Heakal, January 2003)

Changing Gears
One thing is true; if you keep doing what you always have done you will keep getting the same results. Whether you are achieving what you want or not, it is always important to understand what is driving the present results. What is causing your current performance? What can be done to make it even better or eliminate any obstacles or distractions? Is the problem internal meaning is it your attitude or bad habit, or is it external or is it external such as money, other people etc. One thing is for sure, we choose the circumstances we find ourselves in, whether it be the work environment or relationships. The good thing is that when we acknowledge our power of choice, we also empower ourselves to change the situation.

The Art of Reinvention As a Lifestyle for Soul-Driven Entrepreneurs
We soul-driven entrepreneurial types are an interesting lot... we are compelled to do something that we believe is about who we are as a business, allowing passion and enthusiasm to guide our lives and businesses, following an inner need to pursue truth and express it honestly as we know it, creating our own unique path by being our authentic selves, and all with the desire to make the world a better place for being in it. Even more, we do this in the face of daunting external odds, intimidating circumstances, often on the leading edge of our respective industries and with generally not enough resources to make it all happen. THE FORCES THAT INFLUENCE ORGANIZATIONAL BEHAVIOR IN THE MODERN ORGANIZATIONS
Modern organizations evolve as the marketplace and societies evolve around them. Political, environmental, and economic factors drive these changes in certain directions. Typically, organizations not only adapt to these changes but initiate them too. Adaptation can be achieved “passively” by merely reacting to external stimulus or “actively” by truly embracing changing circumstances to maximum benefit. Historically, we are aware of many of these changes, the industrial age, the innovation age, the age of the knowledge worker, or the creative age. The future requires us to work smarter, to be open and flexible. This will be flat from a point of view of opportunity for all or spiky when it comes to valleys and mountains of creativity.

The Time for Action is Every Day
We always seem to be waiting for the right set of circumstances to exist in order to pursue a dream. The circumstances are perfect right now, where we are. Doing what you can every day, with what you have, in the conditions of that day is pursuing your dream.
