Ray Kroc Biography
The biography of Ray Kroc is a story of firsts. He was one of the first fifteen year olds to serve as an ambulance driver with the Red Cross during the First World War after lying about his age. He was the first to see the nationwide potential of a small family business operating out of California. And, he was the first man to apply the principles of mass production to the service industry.

Lesson #3: Make Your Mission Your Holy Grail
“The long term ultimate objective – the holy grail – is we would like to help make life multi-planetary,” says Musk.

From PayPal To Planetary Success: How Musk Is Changing The World One Company At A Time
“If you have millions of dollars it changes your lifestyle, and anyone who says differently is talking bullshit,” says Musk. “I don’t need to work, from a standard of living point of view, but I do, you know. I work every day and on weekends and I haven’t taken a vacation for years.”

The Importance of Vision for Any Business
Having a vision to make a profit is good, but having a vision that puts people above profit is even better.

Your First Client Is Yourself
Finding new customers is like kissing thousands of frogs. Doing all that kissing is a royal pain in the behind but no entrepreneur can afford to stop doing it.

As I reflected on the battling perspectives of the recent Presidential campaign and my own, more mundane challenges of perspective, Jordan’s thoughts below helped me relearn an important leadership lesson.

Empowering Sales Beliefs
The sales results you create are based on your performance. Performance has many components for example, our activities and abilities that are typically where many organisations focus on. Yet beneath the surface, our beliefs about ourselves, our customers, our job, can either help or hinder our performance.

Party Networking or “Are You George?”
I love advertising my business through networking with other upbeat business people. There are many networking groups in every city—trade organizations, Chambers of Commerce, Rotary Clubs, national associations, etc. But you don’t have to restrict yourself to business organizations..

Imagine
It was seven o’clock on a slightly drizzly, busy Saturday night and the 405 freeway was jammed with cars. Unlike what you may see in the movies, there were no horns honking, no raised fists, or yelled epithets. Los Angeles drivers know there’s bunched up traffic on Saturday night and know that fretting about it won’t get them where they’re going any faster. So everyone waited patiently in their metal cubicles as they snaked along to their various destinations....

Thought Conformity
People pass off others' thinking as their own. They parrot others' issues without personal analysis. And they embrace others' perspectives as if it was their original thought. But these repackaged perspectives hamper innovation, personal growth, and business results.
