Overnight success?
What's the opposite of that? An Overnight failure?

The Network Marketing Party Is Over.
When someone leaves a network marketing company, our entire industry suffers. Usually when someone leaves they blame their upline for not providing enough help or the company for not having the right products or marketing for their products. It is refreshing when a person leaves our industry and takes personal responsibility for doing so. Yet as network marketers you cannot help but feel a sadness at having lost such a responsible person.

If you are looking to generate more sales, a webinar training can help you do that. The conversation ratio on this type of training is incredible. You might be used to getting only a 3% conversation using other strategies. When you use webinars you can expect anywhere from a 10% to 30% conversion rate. Imagine this. You host a webinar, one hundred people get on the line and 10% become customers.

Buoyed by overwhelming response, German luxury car maker Audi would increase its car dealership franchise network in the country and aims to grab 30 per cent share of the luxury car market by 2011, a company official said.

You Gotta Make a Comeback
No matter how bad the pain is, if you're willing to make an effort -- and at times it may require a fierce effort -- you can come back bigger, better and stronger. Lance Armstrong overcame incredible odds to become a seven-time Tour de France (the most prestigious race in cycling) champion.

CARVE YOUR SUCCESS KEY
I had just finished commenting to my husband how much I liked the use of copper in the Parade of Homes' kitchen we were touring, when I overheard another woman telling her husband how much she disliked the look. It made me laugh. It's funny how we see things differently.

A Toasted Bagel and Five Minutes to Understand the Impact of Sales Training
Salespeople may be like children, but in training they're more like bagels in an oven.

100 Days of Sodom
Public Works Minister Thoka Didiza is considering importing an Indian employment model that will guarantee every household the right to 100 days of paid work per year. Didiza, as a representative of the state, is promising people the right to a job based on the premise that not having a job is sufficient reason to get one.

Who Is Likely To Succeed In Business?
I am in a privileged position in the work I do. I come across people at all stages of their business lives and so have a good awareness of which people will succeed, or not. I am surprised regularly by people about to start a business. When we sit down to discuss their plans, I find out they don't have any! They have a vague dream about running their own business and a few ideas to try to get them going but what about in 3 months time, 6 months, 12 months or even longer down the line? No idea! We will see how it goes!

Develope a marketing calendar
All businesses should have a marketing calendar! So what is a marketing calendar? During the course of the year you should track where your enquiries come from and which ones lead to customers. At the same time you should record which month the enquiries come in to your business so that you can build a picture of which months are your busiest and which ones are the least busy. Once you have compiled this data you can put this into the form of a calendar and then use this to your businesses advantage. By knowing which months in the year you already get most enquiries; you can then plan further advertising in those months to really capitalise on the months in which your customers are looking to buy.

What Happens When Salespeople Don't Meet Expectations?
The game and the news are quickly forgotten and don't impact your life unless you bet on the outcome of the game or happen to be the leading story on the news. When your salespeople focus too much of their time and resources on a large opportunity and it doesn't materialize, you can lose 6-12 months of productivity from them. Not only that, your forecasts fall short, your budget goes to hell, and you could have a frustrated, demotivated salesperson on your hands. The worst part is if you have a long sales cycle, say 8-12 months, and the salesperson devoted most of his time and energy to this opportunity for 8-12 months, it will take an additional 8-12 months before the pipeline will produce new, meaningful revenue.
