To Make Money OnlineStart By Giving Away The Farm Real Life Examples
| |
| As I talked about in parts one and two and three of this series. A friend wanted to get starting in business online. She was truly concerned about everything from the high cost of gasoline, to the election, to stock market crashes. She started the conversation with, "I don't know what I would do if I lost my job." I understood exactly how she felt because I have "been there...done that" and so I spent about two hours telling her how to make money online. ...And it all starts and ends with the word "Free." |

Are You Overwhelmed By Paperwork
| |
| We're constantly being overwhelmed by paperwork despite the fact that this is the electronic age and supposedly the need for paper disappeared with the introduction of the personal computer! Are There Differences Between B2B and B2C Transactions in Terms of Customer Satisfaction (A PI Q&A)
| |
| Reader Question:
Which components determine customer (dis)satisfaction in a B2B and B2C environment, and what are the greatest differences between these two environments concerning customer (dis)satisfaction?
My Response:
This is an extremely broad question as there are numerous elements that contribute to customer satisfaction.
Given that we are discussing an electronic transaction, in which automation is a core element, the key to automating any process is to “free the data from the document.” According to Bankers Online (http://www.bankersonline.com/), true electronic transactions (including approvals) are 75% less expensive than a paper-based process.

Saying What You Mean To Connect With Prospects! Why What You Say is Just as Important as How You Say it.
| |
| Do you REALLY think about what you are saying and how you are saying it, particularly in your promotinal copy?
Word choice is a vital component of the copy for your marketing, advertising and promotional materials. In fact, your copy can make or break your sales efforts. I always say “copy counts and actually your sales count on your copy.”
The best illustration of how important copy really is was shared by my good friend and mentor Lorrie Morgan-Ferrero. She explains that copy is the DNA of all marketing materials. I have to agree.
Imagine stripping all of your marketing materials of words. How well would your website, brochure, print ads, sales letters, press releases or broadcast scripts work without words?

The world of advertising is full of short and snappy copy promising instant gratification. After all, most prospects simply don’t have time to read thoroughly. They skim. They glance. But if you’re betting they’ll wade through long paragraphs of narrative copy, it’s time to adjust your expectations. Your copywriting must be clear, compelling, and to the point.
These days, the best copy is served a-la-carte, allowing readers to sample one message here, taste another message there. Which leads us to the most important rule in writing copy that sells: Make it “digestible.” Rely on headlines, subheads, captions, and bullet points – short snippets of copy with key nuggets of messaging. Long blocks of copy tend to overwhelm readers. They snooze, you lose.

How to Produce a Great Electronic Newsletter
| |
| As marketing tools go, it's hard to beat a great electronic newsletter, but it may be even harder to figure out what makes a newsletter great. I've subscribed to electronic newsletters since the first day I got an email account back in 1994, and even though the technology has changed dramatically, what made a great electronic newsletter then still makes a great electronic newsletter today.

Drive Complementary Purchases Using Freebie Marketing
| |
| Freebie marketing is an old and effective way to drive complementary sales. Many business owners use freebies for different things, but major retail stores understand that you can use free items to promote other items. For example, business owners may give away a free small electronic toy, but the toy may require a special type of battery, forcing the consumer to purchase those batteries, which may cost more than the small electronic toy.
