Lesson #1: Overcome Your Fears
“He was scared of just about everything,” recalls Leah Adler, Spielberg’s mother. “When trees brushed against the house, he would head into my bed.” From childhood anxieties to professional worries, Spielberg is a living example of the success that is possible when you move beyond your fears, when you put away those nagging worries in your head and focus instead on your goals.

So you have clients and you want to keep and continually serve them. Your Strategic Thinking Business Coach wants to remind you that it is always in your best interest to maintain TOMA (Top Of Mind Awareness) with your clients if you want to keep them. How to Effectively Manage Resume Dilemmas?
Frequent movement from one job to another was not in practice sometimes back on account of the recent global slowdown, however, time is changing fast and we might see some really good opportunities coming our way. If you are looking forward to a career change, there could be a possibility that you would like to revisit your resume and want to rectify mistakes committed in the past. Resume of a Frequent Traveler
I often get asked about what it takes to be a frequent business traveler. Packing your suitcase, spending four nights a week in a hotel, and navigating through the TSA lines are all part of the grind, but they just begin to scratch the surface of what is involved with weekly travel. This Resume of a Frequent Traveler outlines what it really takes to survive the road warrior lifestyle.

Entrepreneurs Are Optimists
I've long argued that there are two types of people out there. I call them "The Victim" and "The Entrepreneur." You can usually tell the difference by the sort of energy a person exudes. While everyone experiences their own personal ups and downs, the long-term trend you sense from an Entrepreneur is one of optimism, and that from a Victim is one of pessimism.

Logic doesn’t change Emotion, Action does!
One of the greatest challenges that entrepreneurs face is to get back in the groove, after a long break. I call it the ‘derailed’ disease. It’s similar to an employee feeling the Monday blues. I am a frequent victim of this disease. Earlier in my life this was the reason for me to quit many projects halfway through. I just didn’t know how to get back on track. I used to justify that this is God’s will and I can’t change it. The problem was that I was using Logic to fight it, which I found out to be the wrong thing to lead with.

Inspirational Leaders Are True Professionals
I've mentioned before that there are two types of person, the Victim and the Entrepreneur. The Victim blames everyone but himself for anything that goes wrong, yet relies on others to take care of him... the Entrepreneur relies on herself and expects to take care of business. It should be obvious that only the Entrepreneur in each of us is capable of true professionalism.

Three Primary Reasons To Become An Entrepreneur
For some time, I've written and spoken about the difference between two basic types of person out there these days: The Victim, and The Entrepreneur. The Victim needs to be taken care of... the Entrepreneur takes care of herself, and others. The Victim is competitive, and views life as a win-lose (sometimes even a lose-lose) proposition; the Entrepreneur is collaborative, and sees life as win-win. Victims blame others; Entrepreneurs are self-reliant, and get things done....

Have You Counted Your Blessings Lately?
'Tis the season to count your blessings... just as it was last month, and just as it will be next month, and the month after. Each of us contains two basic characters - the Entrepreneur, and the Victim, and we'll each by dominated by the character we "feed." Counting (and recounting) your blessings feeds your inner Entrepreneur, and starves the lesser self I call your inner Victim....
