| In 1967, realizing that they had stumbled upon what could be a very successful business relationship, Lucas and Coppola joined forces to create their own production company, American Zeotrope. Their first venture was turning Lucas’ student film THX 1138 into a full-length feature film. After being received successfully, Lucas formed his own company, Lucasfilm Ltd., and began writing a film based on his experiences growing up in quiet Modesto. Completed in 1973, American Graffiti went on to win a Golden Globe and was nominated for five Academy Awards. Lucas had now become a recognized name throughout Hollywood. |

| You will spend much more time behind your car's steering wheel looking through the windshield than you will spend looking in the rear view mirror. That is not to say that you shouldn't take time to glance into the rear view mirror to check for danger so you can negotiate the road ahead safer and with more efficiency. Now compare that to your day-to-day life, do you have a tendency to look behind you and see only your failures and challenges; or are you like an experienced driver who checks it periodically for safety purposes but is totally focused on what lies ahead for you? |

| Having tried the new fangled thing of internet dating, with less than great success, undeterred I decided to go back to tried and tested measures, a bar!
Spending time going through the wardrobe, trying everything on before even looking into the mirror, with the odd slurp of vino to help my judgment! Just knowing "it does not feel right", my debut into a bar with music and full of strangers, is like preparing for the opening of the Olympics. Some kind friends have said "come out with us", (all couples of course, but I am very grateful for their invitation).
