America's New Fuel Efficiency Standards

| According to new guidelines from The Department of Transportation and the EPA, US vehicle fleets must reach an average fuel efficiency of 35.5 miles per gallon by 2016. The new rules will reduce consumption by 1.3 million barrels a day, cut CO2 by 220 million metric tons and save $65 billion as of 2020. |
