I remember growing up we use to play a game called "tag". I am sure you remember playing this game with the neighborhood kids. One or more kids would count to 10 and then chase other kids to tag them and they would be what we called "it". The kids who were tagged were the next ones to count, chase, and tag kids. A couple other things I think of when I think about the word "tagged" is when graffiti artist tagged walls with spray paint or when people get tagged with a tatoo somewhere on their body.

Branding Is Not Selling Out ITS SELLING IN
Ever see an amazing band perform and wonder why you’ve never heard of them before? Ever see an astonishing artist on the street and wonder why isn’t their work isn’t in a gallery? Ever see an astounding independent film and wonder why people all over the world don’t know about it?

A Strong Identity

Art is what we call...
the thing an artist does.

Have you ever thought about painting your own masterpiece?
Painting on canvas can be extremely fun. Especially if you’re an art lover, even if you don’t know how to paint and you’re not much of an artist then the feeling of sitting down painting on that beautiful woven textured canvas makes you feel like an artist in its prime.

Social Media Pro … Maybe It’s Time to Get a Productive Job!
Even though news spreads of PR people, publicists who send scathing emails, tweet callous responses, post graffiti; they really want you to believe social media is where their expertise shines. Problem is the majority of requests for assistance, a response from someone, anyone the quieries go unanswered according CandyTech. At Gartner Research's huge technology conference one analyst said there's a solution...there's an app for that. So much for PR's "sure thing."

Having a Conversation with An Artist Painting Out of Doors
Especially in Summer, you are likely to encounter artists outside with all of their equipment painting happily. You will see them in the cities, in the country, in rural areas, in museums sometimes, by oceans, by lakes, by farms. Speak with them if you feel so moved. One of the most exciting things for an artist is to sell a painting right on site that is not yet dry if it is oil and perfectly dry if it is an acrylic or watercolor. If an artist is shy or would rather not speak, you will surely know it. Still, most artists enjoy conversing with art lovers and others.

Loving Art & Conversing with Artists
How do you speak to an artist? Are artist really any different than accountants? How do you treat artists in conversation? Are you artist-friendly, or not? Read the article and you can answer the question from at least one artists point of view.

The Global Significance of Art
As an artist, I believe that art lives. There is the spirit of the artist in each original piece of art. Of this I am sure. Does the spirit move also into each reproduction? This I am not so sure of. What I do know is that a piece of art can stop one cold in his or her tracks or a group of people cold in their tracks. You can see this yourself whenever you go to a major museum where they have the masters in their collections. And, of course, contemporary artists can also stop people in their tracks. Art is powerful. I love being an artist. I love that what Kant said about come comparing artists to God. Of course, it all comes from God. Where art is concerned, globally, it is a small world indeed.
