Over and over I see women entrepreneurs who are multi-talented, brilliant, hard working, warm, loving, humorous and passionate. Often overwhelmed and unsure, they have been selling themselves short. What are they missing?

The Heroic Path
We are all born heroes. We choose our path and destiny every moment of every day. The hero's path is one of healing, of trials, and of discovering true power and enlightenment. It is not the power of the ego-that desires power to boost itself through greed, pushing harder, or through acknowledging superiority over others. Our deeper truth, the one we carry in our Souls, is that of great vision, of leaping over obstacles with courage. Our greatest power takes wings through love, and connecting with others through compassion and kindness. The hero within knows that contribution is the key to the greatest gift he or she can offer others.

Honoring our Country's Wingmen on Veteran's Day
The best way we can thank our veterans is to make them proud of us through our own personal commitment, courage, and compassion. We need to be warriors for freedom and do the right thing by living with honor.

What Happens When We Help Others?
Compassion is one of those characteristics we're glad is addictive. Without compassion our homes and communities suffer, as does society in general. The deep longing, pulling at our heart strings, to make a difference, drives the very best within each of us. Yielding to this desire bares fruit worth repeating. Helping others, binds us socially, and builds a legacy.

Adopt an Emotion: COMPASSION

Compassion or indifference?
I speak a lot about the importance of compassion in the Feeling Trapped? Free Yourself Now! Life Improvement Program. Now our compassion is being put to the test with the after affects of the earthquake in Haiti.

Leadership Leapfrog
Make a list of the five most important things that constitute leadership. Okay, now pick the top two. Good, circle the one quality that you can't do without. I bet that if you compare what you have circled with lists of leaders and high potentials around the world, the answer would be variations on the theme: know yourself! On the walls of the great mystery schools of ancient Greece it commanded "Know Thyself", and Buddha was quoted as saying "Imagine that every person in the world is enlightened but you, they are all your teachers, each doing just the right things to help you learn patience, perfect wisdom, and perfect compassion."

WRITE A NEW STORY
'Write a New Story' is a great metaphor for many things in our lives. Sometimes it's about creating healthier habits. It could be initiating important changes in the way you contribute to your key relationships - or making a decision to move beyond an existing situation. Either way, what's most important is recognizing the choices we have and acting on those choices with honesty, wisdom and compassion. As we know, the outcomes that develop are stronger-decision making skills, more confidence, courage, personal happiness and fulfillment of purpose.

Self-Pity or Self-Compassion
Do you understand the difference between self-pity and self-compassion?

New Year Resolutions for Entrepreneurs
Every human being has limitless potential. All one needs is to stop for a while and look within, and discover the smouldering fire in the heart that can lit up the path for someone, help a needy with compassion, and change the lives.
