The Rising Cost of Healthcare…Can Small Business Keep Up?
Three words. Health Care Reform. Combined, they have become a hot topic in recent months. Although the thought of any reform on America’s health care will affect all Americans, a special group of interest is small business. As Capitol Hill struggles to create a bill that will satisfy all, small businesses face a critical turning point in regards to keeping up with healthcare changes.

Pros And Cons Of Socialized Medicine
The price of the new system will include increased taxes. In some ways, it won't matter who those taxes are paid by. If they are paid by the companies, they will raise the cost of the items they sell, so the individuals will be hurt as well.

HMO Health Insurance Plans
HMOs, or Health Maintenance Organizations, are types of managed care organizations. These organizations provide a health care system to support their insured members and members' families as well as the doctors, hospitals and other health care providers that are within that system. HMOs operate by setting out guidelines from which their network of affiliated doctors, hospitals and other health care providers can base their treatments.

Socialized Medicine Pros and Cons
Each update on national healthcare insurance I hear on the TV talk shows has a political slant. According to some pundits the countries who use socialized medicine have hurt their economies and are forced to ration medical care to senior citizens. According to others they see the advantage or bonus of socialized medicine and all its positives and see none of the negative aspects of national health care.

Why Do We Not Need Health Care Reform?
Last year I wrote an article about consumer driven health care and I told the story of a woman who paid over $300 per month to insure herself and her teenaged child. She required dental surgery that would take several iterations, but was not able to finish the process because she could not pay the $3000.00 bill. So the world turned and a year later she finds herself working for this very same insurance company, and guess what? She only pays $20 a month for her coverage. There is a saying that came to mind when I heard about that "somebody is buying you wholesale and selling you retail". I mean seriously people, if the insurance company employees can pay only $20 per month for coverage, why are you and I paying upwards of $300.00? What the heck are we paying for exactly?

Five Ways to Solve America’s Health Care Crisis Without Accruing Massive Debt
It is widely conceded by pundits of varying ideological stripes that America faces a health care crisis. Both liberals and conservatives tout the problem; sadly, few quality solutions are proposed. The greatest problem within this crisis, also admitted widely, is the high cost of health care and health insurance. The proposals discussed here serve to lower costs for all consumers, without harming the high quality of care which distinguishes the American health care market, while addressing the humanitarian crisis of the uninsured poor.

About Non-Insurance Health Care Discount Plans
As the debate on what is required of the new American healthcare system rages on, those most affected by health care reform have become new targets for insurance scams aimed at the unemployed, uninsured and those who have been previously rejected by health insurance companies. These so-called discount healthcare plans offer health insurance policies to individuals who are hit hardest by the lack of health insurance, or the inability to afford insurance premiums and out-of-pocket costs. Sadly, most individuals are unaware they have been duped until they attempt to use the service to pay for their medical examine and have already paid into the faulty insurance system.

Men's Health Insurance: Staying Healthy
One of the best ways for men to combat the rising health care insurance premiums and out-of-pocket expenses is to obtain, retain and use the benefits and opportunities available in health care coverage. Taking charge of ones own health and being proactive in healthy lifestyle choices, making and keeping regularly scheduled doctors appointments, and being a dynamic force within a personal wellness plan are all methods to help decrease the long-term cost of health care insurance.

Bad Medicine: Why Your Health Habits Matter
Government health care, at its best, is klunky and inefficient as the medical system tries to fit messy cases into the neat rules that govern who's entitled to what. The trouble is that government health care is rarely at its best. Usually it's at something less than its best, and usually people get sicker, wait forever for remedies, and die.

Unconstitutional Obamacare Law Declared "Void"
If Obamacare stands, it will take a few years, but you will lose the opportunity you now have for excellent medical care. It's just a simple fact that government cannot run a nationwide health care system as well as the free market can (it's been proven everywhere it's been tried), and the ultimate losers will be the patients. So don't leave your very health and vitality up to the government....

What Role Should The Government Be Playing In Health Care?
The government is geared to take as much control of your health care as it can, even though your care will be better the less government intervenes. So don't rely on government health care. Take personal responsibility for your own vitality, and reduce your dependence on the government's role in medical care. Your discipline in your own daily health habits is the most important factor (by far) in the future of your own personal vitality....

Health Habits: Get Fit, Save Money
You know what they say: "The road to Hell is paved with good intentions." That's what's happening with health care in the United States, and perhaps throughout the world of "Western socialism" today. The good intentions which may have spawned such government interventions as the recent American health law ("Obamacare") seek to reduce the overall cost to society of medical care. But, like most liberal or big-government initiatives, Obamacare is actually dramatically increasing health care costs while radically reducing the quality and availability of care....
