Creating the Vision

Jack Welch, former CEO of General Electric, has stated, “Good business leaders create a vision, articulate the vision, passionately own the vision, and relentlessly drive it to completion.” Clear visions have helped shape and propel impressive companies. For example, Fred Smith, founder of Federal Express, had a vision that packages could be delivered around the United States by the next morning. Disney wanted to make families smile. Microsoft wanted to create beneficial software that would compel people to have a computer on every desk at work, home and school. Coke wanted to have its refreshing beverages within the reach of every person in the world. Dominos wanted you to have hot, delicious pizza delivered to your door in 30 minutes or less or it was free.

Lesson #3: A Clear Focus Will Take You Where You Want to Go

“We wanted Nike to be the world’s best sports and fitness company,” says Knight. “Once you say that, you have a focus. You don’t end up making wing tips or sponsoring the next Rolling Stones world tour.” From day one, Knight has had a clear vision about what he wanted his company to be, and where he wanted it to go. There have been many setbacks along the way, but it was in focusing on the larger end picture that Knight was able to keep Nike on track.

Do Not Do This at Home

Well ladies and gents, I have once again been humbled. This happened last Saturday. Please don't try this at home. My Father-in-law called and wanted to take our 5 year old to the carnival. I was going to take him, but my Father-in-law wanted my...

Lesson #3: Be Ruthless and Rise to the Challenge

“You make the wine and I’ll sell it,” Gallo once told his younger brother. Gallo never wanted to be involved in the fine details of making fine wine. What Gallo wanted was to get out on the sales floor, to hit the streets, and to sell his stuff. He became known as a ruthless businessman for one reason; he was good at what he did and he did not let anything stand in his way. Gallo always got what he wanted because he was never willing to settle for anything less.

Be Your Most Unstoppable Self

When was the last time you really, really wanted ice cream at some crazy hour of the day - and actually went to go get it? Or maybe you had an urge to call someone right NOW - so you did it right that second? Or someone stood in the way of you doing something you really wanted to do, so you figured out how to do it anyway? In case you haven't seen the pattern yet, these are all examples of you being unstoppable because the thing you wanted was greater than the thing that could have stopped you.

You May Think You Are Helping Others … But Find Out You Were The One Getting Helped!

| Today was an amazing day down here in the Dominican Republic on many levels. Although I leave tomorrow to come home, I am not returning alone. I'll be bringing memories of all the kids we had the opportunity to help and meet while we were down here home with me.
I've been feeling like I wanted to help others who were less fortunate than myself for the past six months or so. I didn't know what I wanted to do, or how I could help, and then this opportunity arose. I personally believe that everything happens for a reason and I immediately decided I wanted to go. |

What is more important than money?

As some of you may know I did not grow up as the richest kid on the block. There were many things that I wanted as I grew up but was not able the luxury of having them, while I don’t blame anyone, I do feel fortunate today for that. At a very early age I wanted to get out in the world and explore, and ultimately make a difference in my life and maybe someone else’s also.

Who Is Your Ideal Client?

Like many of us, Darshan was struggling with a common problem. He has a big heart and he wants to help everyone he can. Unfortunately, he, like many of us, wanted to be all things to all people. He wanted to help companies become profitable, help executives get their lives in balance and help people build stronger relationships with their loved ones. Also he wanted to help people lose weight and curb their addictions. And that’s not all. Sound familiar?

Financial Freedom Can Be Yours To Claim

"Can you imagine your life free from financial stress, no more arguments with your spouse or trying to figure out which bill to pay first? Can you imagine what your life would look like if you had financial freedom to do what ever you wanted, when ever you wanted, with whom ever you wanted?"
