Educators must go beyond catering to the top students who will most likely go to college and the bottom students who are a disruption to the majority. They can no longer ignore the vast majority (the middle 50% to 60%) of good, average, middle of the road students, who with the right personal qualities, mind-set and technical skill-set, can and must become vital contributors to the future workplace.
