A Dead Simple Formula for Overcoming Twitter-Block (and Tweeting Like a Pro)
| |
| When people sign up for twitter and, shortly thereafter, cry, "I don't get it!" my impulse is to say, "Well, have you made a real effort to share and get to know people?" Let's face it: there may only be 140 characters in a tweet-a far cry from an article or blog post-but there is something intimidating about that little white box. It demands brevity. It craves succinctness. And it seems to implore profundity.

| |
| Studies have shown that the negative effects of workplace conflict can reduce team productivity by as much as 50 percent. Most people would agree that in our increasingly competitive global marketplace, anything that gets in the way of productivity is a serious issue. Conflict in and of itself is not a problem. Rather, it is the negative byproducts of unresolved and mismanaged conflict that are the problem. Unresolved interpersonal conflict can escalate and manifest itself in such ugly behaviors as backstabbing, gossiping, withholding information, judging, and undermining. This article looks at the most common cause of conflict and offers advice on how to respond when you find yourself in a conflict situation. |

Setting Goals that Leverage Sales Success
| |
| One of the single, most important skills that a salesperson can possess is to set goals that are so well defined, and so compelling, that they become embedded deep into the unconscious mind, consequently acting as a powerful force that drives motivation and behaviour. If your sales team lacks clarity about why they are doing the job that they do, their sense of purpose will become diluted and as their sales manager you are losing out on a massive piece of their potential. |

10 Things You Need to Know About Your Prospects

|
The Power of YES!
| |
| The choices we make about what we say to ourselves and others profoundly impact the quality of our lives.
I notice in myself and my clients that saying the word, “YES,” increases our energy level. ‘Yes’ peels away resistance and helps us to move downstream. With yes in the forefront, we easily flow with the river of life instead of against it. The weight of struggling our way through whatever is happening lifts, and life becomes so much easier.

Consciousness Coaching ® - latest trend 2008
| |
| Executive Coaching is a great tool to support the skill and character development – but what do you do if you find your ego simply resists change? Like the body rejects anything that isn’t it’s own, the ego may reject likewise. Where it is not self discovered knowledge, second hand knowledge might be perceived by the ego as foreign like a splinter of wood by the body. The ego then rejects the affirmation, the great formulas and motivational phrases and gets rid of them whether we object to it or not.
So many seminar graduates and coaching clients are fighting an impossible battle against their ego; the mind says “I am confident, powerful and charismatic” and the ego says: “Yeah right, you fool!” ... |

Listening to and Understanding Your Feelings

| Do you listen to your own feelings? I think that listening to your feelings is one of the most powerful and under-rated skills for empowerment and self development. Camphones are for Impulses, Cameras are for Memories
| |
| Camphones didn't replace/kill cameras or camcorders. In fact, they got a lot of people -- young and old -- interested and involved in shooting more, saving more, showing more. Their nice impulse devices but let's get serious are you really going to capture your wedding, your birthday, your graduation, your son's/daughter's birth, your partner cheating on a camphone?
Ok the last is an impulse moment so you may use the camphone for that. But the rest of the family and personal moments/memories? Heck no...you want to make sure you get the best quality possible. And that you store them on the best media available... |

Think Rich - Don't Spend Money As If You Are Rich
| |
| Do you need to start changing the way you think about spending money? When you want something, you have to learn to ask 'how will I pay for this' - not 'which card has enough room on it for this'. It is a hard habit to break. Our brains are wired how we wired them - and if it's wired to use credit cards as an extension of your wealth, then it may take months to break the habit and dismiss the impulse to shop for something you cannot afford. Just stop, take a breath, and ask yourself 'How am I going to pay for this'. If it's not from passive income or portfolio income, it might be time to acquire some and then pay for the item. Start thinking like a rich person - not spending like you were a rich person. |

There is a huge difference between see and foresee
| |
| The very essence of leadership is that you have to have vision. There is more to us than we know. If we can be made to see it, perhaps for the rest of our lives we will be unwilling to settle for less. A vision is not just a picture of what could be; it is an appeal to our better selves, a call to become something more.
Vision gives you the impulse to make the picture your own. There are always flowers for those who want to see them. There are miles to go for those who want to reach at the top.The difference between dream and goal is that goal have deadline. To accomplish great things we must first dream, then visualize, then plan... believe... act. We all need big and clear picture for ourselves to leave legible foot print on the map of the world.
We cannot settle down with low achievements in the life as we have narrow vision. |
