Seven Key Words for Success

| These seven words, when used properly, hold the key to finding answers and solutions to every problem, obstacle, or barrier you will encounter. When you are faced with a problem, look at this list to determine what you need to do or be to solve it.
1. Change
To make things different in your life, you have to make one or more changes. Change happens all the time, and there is nothing we can do about it. Few things in life are static or permanent, and the "status quo" is never permanent. There are only two things in life that never change: truth, and the fact that everything else changes. Regardless of your background, you can become more. |

Whenever someone refers to me as a "Change Agent," I accept it as a real compliment because that is a very accurate description of what I am. Since change is here to stay, I wanted to share some thoughts about change and some strategies on dealing with change.
Change in the workplace and in our lives is inevitable. The way most people deal with change can vary from trying to ignore it; getting angry; wishful thinking and/or running away. A very positive way to deal with change is to look at change as a spawning ground for new opportunities for the business or organization.

| The trouble with change is that it sneaks up on you. It would be easier to deal with if it happened in a predictable manner, like a bus or train arriving at its final destination. After a major change, we don’t need historians to tell us that it was inevitable and that the writing was on the wall for all to see. Hindsight is a wonderful thing. For those in the midst of change, ‘after’ is difficult to define. Long after, we can put dates on things but while they are happening, there is always the hope that the situation is just an anomaly.
