Would I be overstating it if I went out on a limb and made the bold assertion that we have lost our moral compass? And as a part of that observation say that we have been holding up the wrong people as our heroes and role models for far too long! And it only seems to be getting worse. As a population in North America we are losing our ability to discern the difference between right and wrong, fair or unfair, just or unjust and be willing to take a stand and declare ourselves.

Swallowing your Anger
How do you react if someone over steps your boundaries or makes an inappropriate comment towards you? Do you feel anxious or awkward? Your body is a great compass and will usually highlight in some way, that you are being faced with inappropriate behaviour and that you may need to take some action towards the person who has made the snide remark, or an unsolicited criticism towards you.

Finding True North With the Help of a Child
"Dad, I want you to have this" my young son said as he held up a toy compass to place in my hands. "You can keep it on your desk so that you'll always know where you are and what direction to head in." It was one of those priceless parenting moments.
