How She Did It: Oprah’s Success Factors
“What I know for sure is that if you want to have success, you can’t make success your goal,” says Oprah Winfrey. “The key is not to worry about being successful, but to instead work toward being significant – and the success will naturally follow.”

Lesson #3: Seize The Day
When Jobs was 17 years old, he read a quote that would stay with him forever: “If you live each day as if it was your last, someday you'll most certainly be right.” Since then, he has looked himself in the mirror every morning and asked himself whether or not he would do the same thing that day if it were his last day alive. “Whenever the answer has been ‘No’ for too many days in a row, I know I need to change something,” he says.

Living On The Edge: How Gillette Achieved Success
“As I stood there with the razor in my hand, my eyes resting on it as lightly as a bird settling down on its nest, the Gillette razor was born,” said Gillette. “In that moment I saw it all: the way the blade could be held in a holder; the idea of sharpening the two opposite edges on the thin piece of steel; the clamping plates, with a handle halfway between the two edges of the blade.”

Let Time Bear Dividends for You
I have heard so often from people that “I don’t have time” or “There is so much to do, I just can’t catch up.” The truth is that we all have the same amount of time: 24 hours x 7 days. This is the only resource that we are given equally. The only difference is where and how we spend it. In my opinion, where and how we spend our time has the greatest effect on the results in our life.

Shame is the Secret Saboteur of Success
Shame is the painful belief that a person is defective by their very existence, and is the secret weapon of sabotage against personal success. Essentially, shamed is a response that results from our parents and teachers helping us learn how to be a part of society, which we very early on tend to absorb into our energy bodies at a core level. Over time, people affected by shame make compromised decisions from a diminished view of themselves which affects their productivity, relationships and overall life wealth.

You have it all, and you are still not living.
In the good life, somewhere along the way, you didn't get to make the decisions for yourself anymore. Your life chose for you. Have you considered the price you will pay if you don't reflect on your choices? You still have time to reset your path.

Creating The Perfect Work Day Where Stress Is Virtually Impossible
You can't get rid of stress and it's impossible to have a PERFECT work day... or is it? Having a perfect work day where stress virtually impossible and sounds like idealistic, Pollyanna rhetoric I know. But how would your work day go if you believed that EVERYTHING that happened was perfect?...

Confidence
Over the span of 15 years, I have run more than 40 marathons - NYC, Boston, Chicago, Berlin, Stockholm, Dublin, Quebec City and St. Louis, to name but a few. Running grants me confidence and a positive outlook on everything. Even on my worst days, I gain inner strength and personal satisfaction simply from trying. Whatever your own personal marathon, I believe that the same mind-set I use in prepping for long-distance events may speak to you as well. These are a set of values to keep in mind when you're setting out to accomplish any worthwhile goal.

Extreme Self Care - Taking Time For Your Life
If you’re like me, you’re almost always on the go. Whether you’re juggling projects at work, balancing your personal and professional lives, or being there for the people you love, your available time may constantly be stretched to the limits. When was the last time you really took some time just for yourself? I’m not talking about family time, time with friends or sleeping time. I’m talking about time that you set aside to do something for you that you really enjoy.

How to Get Over Being Angry
One of the things I’ve been hearing in my recent Comfort Zone to Confidence Zone programs is that participants have gotten stuck feeling angry – angry at a frustrating boss, anger at an ‘ex’, frustrated with a difficult family member, etc.

Embracing Change
Whether in our personal or professional lives, there is one guarantee that holds true - there will be change… and now, more than ever! As Alan Deutschman shares in his book, Change or Die, “Change doesn’t have to be something that happens to you. You can make it happen – actively, intentionally, and deliberately – if you develop an understanding of how change really works…” One of the ways we can begin to understand how change really works, in order to be more open to it, is to ask ourselves better questions about circumstances (or people) in our lives. Enjoy this excerpt from another one of Sheri's workshops for entrepreneurs. She has become an expert at not only at'embracing change' yet 'inspiring and facilitating change' as well!

BEING IN INTEGRITY
"The Forming – Storming – Norming – Performing model of group development was first proposed by Bruce Tuckman in 1965, who maintained that these phases are all necessary and inevitable in order for the team to grow, to face up to challenges, to tackle problems, to find solutions, to plan work, and to deliver results. This model has become the basis for subsequent models of group development and team dynamics and a management theory frequently used to describe the behavior of existing teams". ..... Wikipedia

Fine Tune Those Ethics
Is there something you are doing in your business endeavors that causes you to pause and wonder, "Should I be doing this?" or "Is this right to do?" If so, then you are more than likely engaged in behavior that is a bit questionable and need to listen carefully to your inner voice.

Your Best is ALWAYS Good Enough
Do you remember that inner voice? You know - the one that we have to put a muzzle on, and train? The one that says that "we can do better", what we did was "not good enough", and even "you're a failure". Can you tell why that voice needs to be silenced? First and foremost, because it is wrong! We gain nothing from "beating ourselves" up about things. In fact, it is a serious waste of energy that could be spent building ourselves up. By the way, remember we are only supposed to be speaking to ourselves in an exemplary manner, if you're not, put that rubber band back on your wrist.

Connecting With Your Intuition and Inspiration
Delicious inspiration gives color and texture to our dreams- guiding us to mysterious and delightful adventures along our path of life. Marcie Hunt Where does intuition come from? If you are spiritually based, it comes from a higher source of wisdom. Some people prefer to believe that it is their “higher self” or soul speaking to them internally. Others believe that intuition stems from the “right” side of the brain where one can easily access such qualities as intuition, inspiration, creativity and non-judgment.

Communication A.P.P.E.A.L.
To succeed as a business owner, you need to create and refine your "entrepreneurial voice."
