The DC/Maryland based Funlayo is co-founder and owner of AgroBotanicals, a company she founded with her husband Shola Alabi which focuses on obtaining fairly traded raw shea butter from women cooperatives in Nigeria; and shipping these shea butter products to the USA. AgroBotanicals also serves as a wholesale company selling large quantities of shea butter (1000lbs to container loads) to mid size cosmetic manufacturers.

A real good reason for this just look at whats going on with the election and our economy! This is part of a ongoing book I am writing and I hope you have some time to read some of my views after being a prodigy of the Health Care system for over 40 years I was 14 when this all started and I am including some very close thoughts that anyone with a child in a health care situation should read. TRYING TO STAY ALIVE JUST ONE MORE DAY

| As some know and I do not often talk about it, I have had my own share of challenges over the last several years. In the fall of 2001, after being diagnosed with a lung infection that doctors were not able to eradicate with antibiotics because of an underlying chronic condition, I spent the better part of the next two years, my health slowly deteriorating as I gradually lost lung function. I was told early on that my only hope was a double lung transplant and without it, I would die! |

LEAN INTO YOUR DISCOMFORT

| I must admit that learning to lean into my discomfort has had a very positive effect in my life!
It was a process over time but the value of being able and willing to do it, was magnified 10 fold during my two year battle to survive my deteriorating lungs, followed by another two year journey back from the edge of death to good health, after surviving a 13 hour double lung transplant operation.
My new lungs came from a 40 year old man who lost his life in a car accident when he was killed by a drunk driver. His incredible gifts saved the lives of four people. I know about discomfort! |

But an incorrect dosage can lead to immediate consequences because a patient can quickly start bleeding internally.
