A Wake Up Call for Marketers
| |
| Understanding and embracing digital media is critical for today's ad agencies and marketers. Nike has worked with the brilliant creative agency Wieden + Kennedy since 1982. Their founders have a longstanding close relationship.
Yet Nike needs more than terrific traditional campaigns. They need to take full advantage of the internet and build a cohesive online strategy to reach their target audience, build their brand, foster their community and drive sales.
Apparently Wieden didn't prioritize online marketing to the degree Nike needed. And so earlier this year, Nike announced that they'll move their interactive assignments elsewhere.
This wakeup call about online expertise isn't just for big consumer ad agencies. B2B marketers, consultants and agencies should pay attention as well.

In addition, there may be selective state agencies that have their own particular requirements. Namely, growing their companies without having to worry about how long it will take for their customers to pay them. |

When The Brewing Business Turns Deadly
| |
| If Kenya's historic Alcoholic Drinks Control Bill 2009 receives presidential assent, this will mean that brewers of such liquor will have to face stringent quality standards and inspections. However with the current enforcement agencies so far being unable to cope in preventing loss of life and blindness, it seems that more has to be done to ensure that the vendors lacing the brews with dangerous substances are stopped. |

Mobile Home Parks - How to Properly Enforce the Rules
| |
| Many mobile home park owners feel that it is their duty as the owner to rule with an iron hand. They think that they can cure all of the park's ills with rule after rule. At with many parks, the rules section is longer than the lease itself.
But is the park any better off with "rules phobia"?
I have tested operating parks with extreme rules enforcement, and also with virtually no rules enforcement at all. And I think I have found the solution to successful park rules. |

What is your responsibility to the customer?
| |
| In both of these cases, no one at either agency wanted to take responsibility for the problem let alone solve it. Both agencies actually tried to get me to investigate into their agencies incompetence.
