So Many Things Hinge on Leadership
| |
| Will Herman wrote a super post on The Leadership Power of Great Public Speaking. I’m a closet introvert, but I know the value of being a great public speaker (and am very comfortable – both as a public speaker and working a room.) |

Persecutors, Bullies, and Billionaires
| |
| A pattern is a behavior that repeats and repeats in many different situations. It is one of the biggest traps in both personal and professional life. The persecutor pattern is one where a seemingly strong individual points fingers of blame and will do what ever it takes to get his/her way and make others feel insignificant. It often comes from a legacy of persecution handed from generation to generation. |

LEADERSHIP IS PERFORMANE NOT POSITION
| |
| is never position or power or star on your sleeves and cap on your head and multi colour printed visiting card or revolving chair. It is always regardless of power. Mahatma Gandhi and Martin Luther king are the examples of leadership. Even in home you are able to distinguish difference between power and authority. Father most of the time lead with fear and mother lead with love. Father is a power center but mother is an authority. Leaders are authorities. They lead with WALK AND TALK formula, that's why they do not need power or position.
Leadership is not moving in an open car and receiving salutes from the citizens or civilians but making those people ready to die for you. |

LEADERSHIP IS INSIDE-OUTSIDE

| A potential leader requires solid knowledge that comes only from inside and he should have competency to complete the things internally. The whole earth is following the principle of ‘Inside-Outside’. Competency is also created inside and bringing it outside up to 100 per cent is leadership. Legitimate Power in Leadership
| |
| Before I define leadership legitimate power, I understood the concepts of what is lawful and what exactly would mean power. So we can understand what is meant by lawful authority. Is "leadership" dead?
| |
| "Leadership" now seems to be a catch-all term (a bit like "communication"). That being the case, has the time now come when we should be considering whether the term "leadership" has lost its impact and whether we need to radically rethink the whole concept by moving out of all the traditional concepts like "servant leadership", "situational leadership", “contingency leadership”, “leadership habits” etc that are based on attitudes and behaviours? |

When The Leader Speaks...
| |
| When great leaders speak, things happen! People become engaged. Teams gel. Customers are served. Problems are solved and products are invented. Such is the power of a leader’s communication. So important is communication that it is difficult to find a leadership text that does not devote a significant portion of its pages to the topic. Unfortunately, most such works present communication as simply another important leadership competency up there with project management and strategic thinking. Communication is not a leadership competency; it is your leadership. Leadership and communication are synonymous; virtually all of one’s leadership is manifest through communication. As James C. Humes wrote: “Every time you speak, you are auditioning for leadership.” |
