| It’s that time of year again - time to set our goals. For some reason we all think that January is the time to start fresh, to once and for all be the things we want to be and achieve all the things we want to have. We make our New Year’s resolutions, we promise to do things better, to turn over a new leaf. The winter air carries countless promises of losing weight, making money and being better friends/parents/spouses. It all sounds so good. So why are we so bad at making it happen? Let’s face it- by the end of January most of us have already abandoned our goals as mere pipe dreams and we shrug them off with a mental note to do better next year. |

| Sometimes we are so zealous to become successful that we forget about what is significant. The background for success should include some intrinsic values as well as monetary values. We should be aware of our culture and other cultures, our history and their history, and not live in what has been termed "a cultural vacuum." Someone once said that not knowing history was like being a leaf that didn't know it was part of a tree. That's an interesting visual and it applies to many people. We are individually responsible for our education, and that means whether you're in school or not. |

| Australia-based coffee chain, Aromas has launched first café lounge at Hiranandani Powai in Mumbai. Aromas has tied up with Ideal Hospitality Pvt Ltd (IHPL). With a seating capacity of 90 people and a live kitchen, Aromas is spread across 2000 sq ft and offers ground coffee and teas from around the world. Besides, wine, pre cooked food and wine are also served. |

| 20 Jan 2010: Blue Foods leading coffee chain The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf (CBTL) is all set to open its fifth outlet at Blue Heaven, Linking Road, Bandra West in Mumbai on January 21. According to the company's spokesperson, it is the third outlet of CBTL in Mumbai with the other two present in CR2 Mall, Nariman Point and Sobo Central mall,Tardeo in Mumbai. |
