Tough economic times, a shrinking desktop market and strong notebook sales make this an unwise move for Apple, he told Wired. However, not releasing new desktops is a terrible idea—and totally against Apple’s “DNA,” according to the Sellers Research group. |

| IBM and IBM compatibles has taken a huge market share as far as the personal computer goes, however Mac desktops have many selling points. For versatility, ruggedness and affordability there are many Mac desktop sellers. Before the IBM people scoff at my proposal, here is a small list of what has sold me on Mac desktops.
Flexibity is one of the main selling points for Mac. They are compatible with most Windows and Linux applications. This triples your ability to purchase the custom software you need or comparative shop for software that may meet your needs. Considering Mac arguably has some of the best audio, video and graphics software on the market already, this is a big plus. Add in the excellent accounting, billing and project software put forth for Windows and the application software that Linux offers.... |

| Whether we like it or not, we’re hooked on technology. Whereas not that many years ago, cell phones, laptops, desktops and tablets were more likely to be found in science fiction novels than in our homes, we’ve come to not only like technology, but rely on it. |
